YOUR Ship IN STAR WARS... for real.

By Joe Boss Red Seven, in X-Wing

If we're talking ANY ship, the SoroSub Luxury Yacht is a no-brainer

Who wants some janky Corellian transport or cramped starfighter when you could have jacuzzis and master bedrooms?

If we're talking just ships from the game, I would definitely go for an Aggressor- sleek, relatively spacious, and easy to modify

But the agressor has no life support apart from the prisoner compartments iirc, good if you're a droid, not so much for us mortals :)

Assuming it comes fully staffed, SSD. Just jumping to orbit above a planet keeps the local populace in line.

Failing that, VT-49 or some version of a YT. VT looks cool and the YTs are highly customizable to outfit however you want to run it.

The SSDs look cool, but is EXTREMELY vulnerable to random A Wings! LOL!

For me its a close call between the A-wing and the B-wing; love the speed of the A-wing but I think I'm leaning more towards firepower and shields.

Rebel - E-Wing

or

Imperial - Tie Bomber

Cheers

Baaa

I'm actually thinking (and kind of surprised that nobody else thought of this yet) of the Gozanti.

Mod the two of the docking collars to accommodate my Y-Wing and Khiraxz, a third holds my TIE Interceptor, and the fourth gets a universal collar for visitors.

Good call... Even used the Gozanti for a beta "star wars - firefly" campaign.

Good call Cant believe I didn't think of that, we are even using one in our local gaming groups FFG starwars ongoing campaign!

Custom modified VT-49 with an A-Wing "escape pod".

At first I thought, Star Destroyer, or perhaps the Eclipse, because I could sell those and buy several ships with the proceeds (why settle for just one?)

Then I thought, if I am going to go that far, I may as well have the Star Forge, so I can just make my own Rakatan tech flavoured fleet.

Fire spray, most definitely.

Black Sun Scummers all the way!

I would choose a Tramp Light Frieghter which is the most SW ship you could ask for. Doesn't matter what model, it's gonna be modified well beyond specks and highly illegal no matter what government is in power.

And a Rodian for copilot and Duros for engineer. Maybe a jive talking droid for good measure.

YT-1300!!!

Never give up the dream.

My head says VCX-100, because it can be fun for the whole family.

My heart, though... My heart says the V-19 Torrent. It's awkward, has a weird center of gravity and too many moving parts. It's also powerful, maneuverable, and very good at what it does.

I've been tempted by Mel's a couple times...

A T-65. Since forever. Til forever.

Jumpmaster 5000

Death Star. Just after I weld a steel plate over that small auxilary thermal exhaust port.

NOOOOO! You fool! With the thermal exhaust port sealed, there'll be no way for the reactor to vent heat! The station will overheat and the crew will cook alive!

We'll use the main port.

YV-666, baby!

I suppose it depends. If I'm jumping in a fighter cockpit, it would have to be the T-65 X-Wing. If I'm commanding a larger cruiser, it would have to be an MC80 Mon Calamari Cruiser.

Cuz I mean, who wouldn't want to fly around in this beasty?

Unless you happen to be attacking the second death star...

Im gonna take the best of both a capital ship and a one man ship and choose the Valiant . It was a droid crewed Alderaanian warship that was fully automated and designed to protect their last weapons of war after the clone wars. Not only can I do what I want with it, its also a tribute to a dead world, and full of awesome to boot.

I still have fond memories of a Star Wars D20 campaign many years ago where I was a scoundrel flying a dark blue YT-2400, so I'll go with that.

Good ole West End STAR WARS RPG...

I remember playing this as an astromech (I was 5 and while I did roll play, I know I wasnt as compentent a RPer as I am now). My mother was a Y-wing Pilot. We were in a dog fight and I made a Miracious roll in saving her ass. She then pulled a split J manuver and it resulted in her poping her "Intergrated astromech" card if you catch my drift.

Right now I think it's gotta be the Scyk. When I first read Joe's post, that was the first ship that came to mind. I don't know what it is, but I'm completely enamored with it. And you can't deny the customization options are pretty sweet. It's speed isn't so bad either.
