Hey guys, Marsten's gun pool needs a fix. The defense for the droid was not taken into account...
Defense (fix): 2eS 2 failures

Which unfortunately means a miss
The Dark Knight was quick as only a machine of war can be. Marsten's blaster bolts, furious as they were, were ablated by the droid's large shield, which it was now holding in front of itself.
You still have 5 Advantage. How would you like to allocate it before I take the NPC round?
[PbP] Heirs to the Legacy IC
Recover strain and boost next PC's action. If I can use any of it to get me out of there, then that too.
****, somehow I forgot that Defense was not Melee Defense...
You can take a maneuver for 2, recover strain for 2, and Boost for 1... How did that sound?
Boom shacka-lacka. I'll take that.
Its an NPC slot now right?
You still have 4 Advantage.
This. Because Bantha's Eye requires a successful check, which isn't the case.
Edited by JereruMarsten fled into the building, and the droid was right behind him. Ducking to the left, Marsten dodged a deadly jab and blocked another with his cybernetically enhanced limbs, but lost one of his guns as it went clattering across the floor.
Attacking Marsten: 3eP+1eA+1eC+1eD+1eS 1 failure, 3 advantage

Next PC please!
Marsten is now inside, engaged with one of the Dark Knights. Tahiri and Lavin are also inside. (Your Triumph has ensured that, as long as they aren't followed, the Anselmi are out of harm's way)
Outside are Kell, Dev'rios, and H4L. We can call them "engaged" if you like. The option is to you; we have 4 PC turns now. Lavin can take a single maneuver to engage with any of his allies. H4L cannot benefit from Battle Meditation.

Ok, let's do it then.
Lavin checks with a quick glance that the elders are running to safety. He gets outside while producing and igniting his lightsaber, and joins his friends.
-Alright, guys. Let's show them.
He closes his eyes for a moment, trying to reach his comrades' minds. He walks through their skulls, dives inside, and...
H4L takes a moment to guess his range correctly, then hefts a concussion grenade in his hand and then tosses it between the two nearest droids.
"Fire in the hole!!!"
Aim, then throw a grenade at the closer droid, with the intention of catching two in the blast if I can. Spending a destiny point to boost the last of my dice.
Dice roll to follow, I assume dificulty is as it was before.
Grenade!: 3eP+1eB+1eC+3eS 1 failure, 5 advantage

Wow, we are just not having any luck... Except, obviously, now I can activate blast, at least. Also, can I activate the concussive effect with hitting? If not, I move away, then boost the next person's roll.
Edited by Crazy AidoKell calmly set his rifle aside, taking another deep breath as Hal yelled out "Fire in the Hole!". Letting the Force flow through him, he felt Lavin's mind touch his, a burst of anger bleeding through the link but Kell forced that down, finding a balance within the force. Pushing himself to his feet, he planted a hand in the hood of the airspeeder he was hiding behind and vaulted over it, his other hand snaking down to his belt and pulling his lightsaber free. His feet pounding the pavement he charged towards one of the Dark Knights, igniting his lightsaber with a snap-hiss, the electric blue blade.
As he closed range, the Knight he was engaging swung at him, but Kell had already launched himself into the air, spinning over the vibroblade and inside the war-droids guard, striking out with his lightsaber and cutting a deep slash across the droids chest, before dancing back as the molten durasteel armor on the Knights chest slagged and ran, turned molten by the heat of his blade.

(Remeber you have an extra success granted).
-moved to OOC thread-
Edited by awayputurwpnThe droid's arm spun around to follow Kell, in a way that seemed grotesque for a humanoid figure, and the vibroblade interposed itself into the path of the lightsaber, halting any more damage to its chassis.
The Dark Knight activates the Parry talent, moderately reducing the damage done.
Next PC please!

Tahiri ignites his lightsaber and raises it up in the air. He sees Marsten's gun rested in the corner of the room after he dropped it. He takes a few steps forward placing himself ahead of the path for Marsten to get to his fallen blaster. "I'll cover you while you get that thing!"
2eP+1eA+3eD: 2 successes

Tahiri and Marsten both have +1 defense
I technically can add another defensive point to someone in short range. Is there anyone outside that is within range for the bonus?
Marsten simply shook his head. He was busy dealing with the big droid, and looked capable enough, so Tahiri maneuvered outside, intent on covering Kell and H4L with his defensive tactics.
It was just in time too, because the big droid was still following through on his parry, coming down on Kell's head with his long vibroblade.
Attacking Kell: 3eP+1eA+1eB+2eD+1eS 2 successes, 2 advantage

Tahiri was able to distract the droid just long enough for Kell to duck and parry the blade. Instead of finding the Nautolan's head, the long sword smashed against the lightsaber blade, making an awful screech as Kell held off the blade. The Dark Knight, nonplussed, kicked out a mechanical leg and swept Kell off his feet.
Kell is prone, and takes 10 damage (minus Soak). He may Parry at his leisure.
Dev'rios is the last PC to go! Go for it.
Dev'rios steps forward to engage the third Dark Knight.
-Let's see how much of a challenge a droid can be.
Then proceeds to tear his oponent apart.
Kell could feel the heat from his lightsaber, the muscles in his shoulder and chest bunching as he strained to keep the vibrating edge of the droids blade from cutting through him, he could hear the whirs and clicks of the Dark Knights servos as they battled in a blade-lock. Then suddenly the pressured lifted, thankful for the respite Kell tried to recover, only to see the droid rear back to kick him. He started to throw himself backwards but it was too late, the durasteel plated foot planted itself in his chest, his desperate dive lessened the blow, but he still skidded back onto the pavement in a cloud of dust.
(Suffering 3 strain to reduce the damage by a further 3, so taking 2 damage overall)
(WT 2/18 ST 3/12)
Dev'rios takes 1 strain from the Threat rolled.
H4L's eyepoints glow a brilliant white, it's little mood chest light pings a happy green. It's vocaliser stabs across it's head piece as it speaks. It's metal hands heft the massive heavy blaster in it's arms like a biological would hold their lover. You can see now the word "Daisy" painted crudely along the barrel. It aims at the Stormtroopers on the rooftops, then starts blazing away. All the while singing a bizarre nonsensical rhyme.
"Daisy, Daisy..."
BRAKOW BRAKOW
"Give me your answer do..."
BRAKOW
Assuming the stormtroopers are at medium range, adding an aim action.
Laser rifle attack: 3eP+1eB+2eD 3 successes, 1 advantage

Obviously, spending everything on MORE DAMAGE. Which should make twelve damage, pierce 2. Spend the manouvre to improve someone's next roll, I guess?
Hal's blasts took down two of the troopers on the roof, vaporizing much of their armor as it sent their bodies flying. Two down, 7 to go. The troopers grouped together and fired back, blasting at H4L.
Attacking H4L: 3eP+2eA+2eD+1eS 3 successes, 2 advantage

The stormtroopers on the roof have taken cover, and now have Ranged Defense 1. There are 7 on the roof and 9 on the perimeter at ground-level, and they are indeed at medium range from the fray. Hal takes 13 damage himself, minus soak.
The droid's chassis shook and rattled as a couple blaster bolts made it through Lavin's defenses.

Kell thudded to the ground onto his back from the Knight's kick. He rolled back onto his shoulders, lifting his feet and legs into the air and kicking forward and upwards, flipping up into the air and landing, crouched, back on his feet. He brings his lightsaber back up into a Ataru guard, gripping the hilt with both hands as he stares down the Knight, a brief moment of clarity between the two foes before they engaged again. Kell charged forward, feinting a slash at the droid's shield arm, getting it to raise its shield then planting a foot onto the sleek metal surface he launched himself off up into the air. He soared into the air, flipping backwards, the Knight's cutting slash passing beneath him the vibroblades humming edge passing inches from the tips of his dangling head-tails.
Landing solidly on his feet, he slid to the droid's sword arm side, stepping in to slash at what would be its rib-cage if it were a organic, hoping to find a vital component with his burning blue blade, turning another chunk of the droid's carapace to molten slag with his attack.
"Time to send you to the scrap heap!"

Crit is good. Go ahead and roll! d100+10.
Marsten wasn't happy with the situation he was in. The big, dark wardroid looming over him and one of his guns laid beyond his reach to mount a viable attack back. With that in mind, he charged his Repulsor Fist to help blunt the attacks of the Droid's Vibroblade. Keeping his Repulsor Fist out toward the enemy to better deflect blows, he leveled his only blaster at it and fired off a shot from the hip.
