Imperial Exploratory Corps

For RPG purposes, does anyone know much about these guys?

I'm thinking of writing a mini campaign / campaign episode of a flight group attached to a Raider being seconded to an exploration mission, could do with as much info as possible and wookieepedia is falling short.

Note: Legends sources apply.

Pfew, they look interesting. Looks like most information would be found in the adventure journals by West End? Or at least of the ISC, according to Wookieepedia of course.

Depending on your cashflow you might look for scans or ebook versions or go to a site such as:

http://www.abebooks.com/book-search/isbn/0874310687/

And get some old campaignbooks to convert and use in your current campaign?

Oh dear, it's going to be one of those wookieepedia click-through nights :D

Best of luck, the info I found was very minimal.

I am probably of rather more questionable morals than you, I've already located Adventure Journals 1 through 15.

And a copy of Classic Campaigns.

I love reading RPG rule and sourcebooks. I don't always need stories, just worldbuilding. ;) .

Oh good, a new hobby for the nightshift :D .

Now, these things are of course still copyright protected so I can't tell you where I found them, nor should you download them if you do find them. But if you find a purchaseable copy, why not, plunder them for your own campaigns.

I hadn't thought of that route, I too should be able to find those books second hand in a digital scan form.

According to the Imperial Handbook,

The Empire's mapping and exploration divisions are attached to the Imperial Navy. These frontier scouts help expand the Empire's borders by identifying worlds primed for conquest or exploitation.

Rieekan adds this note

-Most of these scouts are in it for the adventure and don't know what the Empire does with the data they send back. We've had a lot of defectors from the survey corps.

Thank you sir. That's just the data I need.

I also read something about the ICS and IEC going to be disbanded because of their being too independently minded. That should set up some conflict with higher ups, maybe an inspector that could function as a nemesis over the course of a campaign/ few missions
