Additions to Imperial Assault

Firstly as I have no interest in the campaign,the time lines thing means nothing to me so some of these ideas may not fit in with the campaign,however in saying that they could always release some skirmish only stuff.

Characters I'd like to see:

Luke Skywalker - based on return of the Jedi with a lightsaber instead of the gun.strength wise,he should be not as strong as Vader but somewhere around royal guard champions level.

Darth Sidious - not as strong as Vader but should have the Force Lightning command card as an action.

Scout Troopers - not really sure what to do with them to make them different as I feel the speeder bike things should be a different figure.

Obi-Wan Kenobi - Vader's strength,skirmish only?

Yoda - royal guard champion strength,skirmish only?

Dewback Trooper - similar to the bantha rider but a big stronger I guess

Chances are that we will see most if not all of these eventually anyway.I would also like to see some prequel stuff but I know that's probably not going to happen due to the time lines thing

Yoda, absolutely. Great addition to skirmish, could be an add-on to campaign by means of the dark side cave...

And that would break the game in Skirmish, unless they are really weak in all other regards, which wouldn't really go hand in hand with the Star Wars universe.

Not if they're fairly costed. But you basically got my point, it was supposed to be over the top.

My Rebel list already contains 9 out of 10 models on the white die and that die can take over the game sometimes, as 2-3 dodges in a row makes a HUGE advantage. A dodge a right time can win or lose a match already.

With 2 white dice you have 11/36 (30.5%) chance to roll a dodge, instead of the current 1/6 (16.7%) chance. Best right now is R2-D2 with 2/6 (33.3%) chance, and the rest of his abilities are decent, but not great.

Characters like Yoda or Palpatine would need to be strong characters, based on their importance in the Star Wars story. Hence the game would get out of balance.

It would probably be better to give them extra block and/or evade to go along with one white die.

Palpatine is in X-wing and has an extremely powerful ability with Global range. However, he is prohibitively expensive, on the border of unplayability. Is he in the LCG?

Yeah in the core set and stands as one of the best units in the game (also one of the most expensive).

I'd say defense for Yoda and sidious should have 1 white and 1 black dice and probably cost more than Vader depending on their other stats
