The card says add 1 black die to the pool when attack a ship you have already attack. The question is dose it have to be in close range or at any range???. Keep getting pull up over it when in medium to long range

It's at any range. The die is added after the initial attack pool, and skips the range restrictions. (Specifically it is added after you roll during the modify step, so you can use paragon, then a concentrate fire dial to get 2 black die at long range)

It's the 1st question under Attacks on page 2 of the FAQ if you need to point out the ruling to anyone.

And yes, because of order of resolution, you can add that black dice, then add another via the Concentrate Fire Command, then re-roll any of them with a CF token or spend any to trigger sensor team.

Then, you assign Accuracies

Then your opponent can apply Evades

(re-rolled dice that give accuracy at this point are useless, good to know)

Then your opponent can apply Braces

Then your opponent can apply Redirects

Then you can apply damage and resolve any applicable critical effects if present.
