Skype-based Deathwatch campaign.

By Chasme, in Deathwatch

Hello Folks,

Having noticed that there is a rather large American fan-based community on this general section of the forum I was wondering whether there were any European based players interested in a Skype -based Deathwatch campaign?

I've been contemplating this course of action for some time now, having only recently been introduced to the concept of VOIP role-play I decided that I would like to take a shot at leading a story/ or if it happens to be the case that an active GM is still searching for new additions to their party; join a campaign.

I've been a Warhammer 40k lore fan for years now and above that a role-play enthusiast, aiming to (hopefully) play on weekly basis. The sheer fact that you could play from the comfort of your own home just seems like a really great experience to me. Clearly I would ask for some patience considering the fact I haven't had that much experience per say playing around with this particular medium, I have however had extensive experience in both playing and leading games in person. Oh, and the fact that I have an IT-background ought to help a bit handling tools like say; Maptools . ;)

If anyone is as eager as I am to get this idea started please write me a message. Whether leading up on this post, or a private one. One can also add me on Skype using the account name: Tjuky1

I am eagerly looking forward to hearing from you,

Chuck

In theory I'm interested. In practice I'm not sure. If it's Mon, Tue or Thursday, after 10pm GMT and at most every second week then I might be able to play... Real life is completely in the way otherwise!

I'm GMing DW in a real life game and I have loads of experience in the 40K systems. I do love the system for making the players feel like bad a**es. I'm a bit jealous to be honest. The only time I get to kill anything is when the PCs really mess up really badly!

I'm based in Manchester UK on the off chance that you're nearby and interested in playing a real life game.
