I am a fairly new player, and I mostly run Rebel 4-ship generics. With the rise of the TLT meta, is it starting to be worth bidding up above PS2?

For example:

3 Daggers with FCS

Green Squadron with AT, CR, and PTL

Or does the extra point cost make PS bidding prohibitive to pull together a strong four ship build?

It might become worthwhile for sure, but its completely meta dependent. If you are seeing a slew of PS2 TLT lists flooding your meta, then yeah, its totally worth it. If there's some twin lasers, but not overwhelming other lists without it, then its a preference thing.

Ps3 + has added benefit of giving you at least some protection from Predator
