So this is my first list. Fairly unsubtle; the Victorys cruise at speed one, and spray their front arc, while the demolisher lingers in the rear. Then it leaps forward and shotguns some one in the face.

Obvious weakness is I'm very vulnerable to squadrons. My strategy will be to locate the carrier and kill it.

Oops! It's two VSD II, one with warlord and screed, the other with dominator, the GSD I has engine tech, ACM, demolisher.

I would consider using something other than warlord since you will want to have those accuracy results to block tokens, maybe h9 since they can guarantee an accuracy for you. Or you could do ion cannon batteries to make those blue crits from screed more useful

Heck you could put ion cannons on both if you don't care for initiative bids

I feel like there's something there with overload pulse and screeds ability; 1-2 punch from overload then hit them with someone else?

I guess as a newbie, I'm worried about never getting to sling all 10 front dominator dice at some one. Image the victory class really that hard to maneuver though?

And you still have the dominator blue dice incase they skirt bearly inside medium giving 3r,2u front and 2r2u sides and rear which is still reasonable firepower

Had my first game against 2 frigates, a neb and mon mothma. My list ended up being demolisher, engine techs and acm, victory 2 with warlord, screed, and h9, and a victory 1 with dominator, and acm. Fleet ambush objective, he had me be first player. I kept everyone in close at speed 1 until turn three, the. The ambush popped (salvation neb), and I shotgunned one of the frigates that was isolated, and warlord finished turn 4-5, and the neb went shortly there after; the other frigate couldn't reach me until turn six, and he put only a face down damage card on warlord.

I only lost demolisher.

Overall, happy with the way I played and I thought it was a good first real game of armada.
