My goal is to build a basic Rebel hangar diorama. I plan to start with a piece of styrofoam, painted to resemble the floor of a hangar.
I'll then add some props, wiring and cargo containers and such.
I'm having a really hard time finding people models that are to the 1/270 scale. They'd be tiny, less than a centimeter tall. I'm also on the lookout for anything I could easily covert to look like a hangar prop. Maybe a truck, or lift.
I've been thinking about doing something similar but maybes a little less ambitious. Would love to see the falcon escaping Tatooine not that I will be doing it lol. Hope to see some pics
I know millennium falsehood used some figures when he did a bridge for his cr-90 but I don't know where he got them.
6mm ultra modern wargames figures might look just about ok.
Im sure someone must do modern pilots that painted orange, given a white helmet , would look like rebels.7
6mil is 1/300th so not far off the xwing scale.... probably the closest you're going to get mass produced.

285 seems pretty **** close. I'm don't have much experience in modeling though, so I'm not sure how close is "close enough".
6mm scale, which is 1/285 or 1/300 depending on who you ask and what side of the Atlantic they are on, should be perfectly fine.

Yeah you want to roll with 1/300 scale. About 7 to 9 mm tall. These are some guys I had cast... so one day I am gonna do a project like this too.
