Star Wars uprising

Anyone else downloaded this game? What do you think of it? When can I get a lightsaber?

1: Yes

2: It is ok but calling it an RPG was horribly misleading advertising on the part of Disney. And it continues the trend of Star Wars games having all of the gameplay focused on the ground or at least on a planet ignoring the space components of the story. And I hate that trend.

2: No idea.

Yes, I like it so far. Outer Rim Thugs for life haha. I do agree, where are the space games? I really want a Star Wars Commander like game except you have a space station and capital ships and fighters. And more like the style of boom beach rather than clash clans.

This would be awesome. Start as the leader of a pirate band with an outlaw shipyard in say CSA space. Your fleet gets smashed by the picket fleet early in the campaign and flees then get contacted by an Imperial official, who wants to establish a base for you and use you to carry out missions that the local moff refuses to sign off on, and the Alliance, who want to set you up as a privateer band to harass Imperial shipping in an area that the rebels can't spare many ships for.

It's keeping my attention so far. Getting ranking up and kept up is a pain. /claim_lightsaber ...lol

Is anyone else having a lot of issues with the game crashing during story missions on Hoth? I've been on the level 24 Hoth story mission for days because every time I try it the game crashes either while loading the mission or within a few seconds of starting it.

No crashes for me.

Anyone in a cartel? I think it would be neat to have people from the forums in one.

I tried to like it, but ultimately it's a mobile game. So I don't.

I disconnect when trying to do co-op sometimes, but only 1 full crash so far and I was jumping between apps at the time.

Progress can be frustrating, but levels are short and easy to sneak in here and there. Unless you have all day to play the sector battle, the crappy rewards at the end are very disappointing, too.

I can finally run the game on my iPad mini. Couldn't up till recently. I've got all of my beta and founder rewards and Hans gun is letting me kick some serious butt so leveling is going decently. Plus I have a Stormtrooper helmet lol. I'll be glad when I can branch out a bit, right now still stuck doing Happy's bidding. I wanna start getting some Faction cred.

I enjoy it. It's fun and it is Star Wars. Starting a cartel tonight going to call it Ion Control.

Platformers and touch screen controls have never been the best mix.
