Non-Prequel Prequel Armada

Luckily FF so far have proven they have some taste and avoided that disgusting "prequel" mess, plumbing the much superior older EU universes instead. Let us hope it continues forever.

Well, you say that. But then picked a pile of lazily designed mobile game garbage like the TIE Punisher and made the impossibly tiny version of the Hounds Tooth. My faith in their taste has decreased with every wave of x-wing lately.

Touche, I had wondered where that TIE Abomination had come from. I always wonder what the taboo is against the TIE-Avenger, always hated vaders TIE aesthetically

When did Galactic Battlegrounds get released as a mobile game?

Was it from Battlegrounds originally? Huh, I stand corrected.

Though not about the incredibly lazy design part!

While I prefer Defenders, I will agree that the TIE Avenger/TIE Advanced Mk II looks waaay better than Vader's TIE.

On Topic: I would love to see Venators and Acclimators show up, along with Dreadnought Heavy Cruisers, and maybe a prequel fighter pack. Instead of the normal heavy/light versions of the ships, I think it would be cool to have an Imperial/Rebel set, with each having a slightly different version or use for the ship.

Yeah though it ws called the TIE Interdictor in Battlegrounds then renamed the Punisher by FFG later. Though for some reason FFG calls it TIE Interdictor in the RPG and TIE Punisher in X-Wing.

But is the design really that much lazier then the TIE Bomber. For the Bomber they took a TIE Advanced and add a second ball pod beside the cockpit. For the Punisher they took a TIE Advanced and added four pods forming an X with the Cockpit at the center and pods as the limbs.

How's it "impossibly tiny"? I was under the impression that it was exactly the same size as the TCW Hounds Tooth - 47m.

That's tge problem...it's a lot smaller than the original EU size. Which wouldn't bother me, except that the z-95 carrier idea was an EU one, based on that sizing.

Challenge for you: pick up a z-95 model, and a hounds tooth model. Explain how one fits into the other, whilst still having room for crew, prisoner transport, power plant and weapons. Bonus points for hilarious diagrams of the above!

Would the wings not fold like with aircraft carrier based planes?
