I read the OP and I agree about being civil in this forum setting, we must respect each other lest we devolve. Personally, in real life I have very strong convictions about what I believe in, STAR WARS being a huge part of that. If people; men, women or otherwise aren't interested in that then I have no time for that. I believe in what I believe in and if one doesn't respect that then goodbye. I associate with people that respect my beliefs and interests the way I respect theirs. I believe that one needs convictions in their beliefs lest they be usurped by more aggressive viewpoints. Not to say there isn't room for debate and collective understanding but if you like STAR WARS you like STAR WARS. If you like rock'n'roll or hip-hop or metal or jazz or electro you like those things. If you like football or American football or baseball or hockey or rugby you like those things. If you like Halo or Battlefield or Call of Duty or Fallout you like those things. If you vote Conservative or Liberal or Labour or Republican you believe in those things. If you belive in God you believe in that. DO NOT EVER let anyone dictate to you your beliefs. They are the things that make us truly unique as people and what define us. Let no-one take that from you. Be convicted in your beliefs and defend them.

No it's far bigger than gamergate that's just the most up front issue in the media.

And ethical journalism is really important to everyone you don't want every Fox news becoming the standard do you? If you can't trust journalists to report the facts without a heavy bias that's an issue.

On these forums we've had posters demand selfie sticks be banned because they could be used for upskirt shots, sjw's constantly over react to things and cry wolf.

It's no wonder people have grown tired of it, PC culture has gone mad and needs to be taken out back and shot.

I just laugh in the PC warriors faces and continue what I was doing or using the words that apparently upset them. They are the ones being upset. None of my concern.
