Anticipating the Bantha has my mind wandering. Twin shadows may have been the perfect time to release a Dewback trooper figure, what with the focus on Tatooine. What do you think the chances are of seeing a figure like this entering the gam in future expansions? As a painter, I'd love to get my hands on a Dewback!
Dewback
If they're putting that retarded looking tank in there that wasn't in the OT, they might as well put in dewbacks and tauntauns in my opinion.
Dewbacks would be cool.
That tank is actually the 2-M Repulser tank. It was first featured in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and was later carried on to Star Wars: Empire at War. IMO its fine as a unit but the scale is pretty weird for its figure.

I guess it's okay. :-)

It is actually a SC2-M Repulser tank, according to the article. Which is a shame as a 2-M Repulser tank would actually work in this scale.

Edited by AnimewarsdudeIs there a difference? they look similar. Is the SC-2M the one with the beam turret on top?
The sizes are way different! The Battlefront one needs two to operate not 1.
I suppose FFG could always release a duel mount pack. One with a rebel riding a Tauntaun, and one with a storm trooper riding a Dewback. Both which we see in the movies. I would say very likely.
EpicBubbleSA that would be an excellent concept for a release!

This is a 2-M repulsor tank

Compare that to the one in the new expansion:

.Ah. Thanks for clearing that up!

They really had to shrink the Repulser Tank down to make it fit into this game. The real one had a crew of three. My son has the remote control action figure toy and it fits three 3 1/2 inch clone troopers.
Edited by Stormtrooper721I only see the Gunner and the Driver. Where is the third crew member?

On the other side of the driver. That person would probably man the big cannons and missiles.
Back to the original topic, I think it would be cool to see a Dewback in the game, and with the mechanics of the game I think it would fit very well. Though I think if they were to do it would have been perfect to go along with Twin Shadows, just like a Tauntaun would work best going with Return to Hoth. I suspect though if we see them they will probably be similar to the Bantha in that they are released more so for the Skirmish part of the game rather than the Campaign, though it would be cool to see if either the campaign mission or the skirmish mission used Twin Suns tiles for a Dewback figure.
ja, Ja, JA!.....dewback mit stormies!!!
What size base do you think a Dewback would be put on, same as an E web engineer? Big enough for the ATST/ Bantha base?

Probably the same as the E-Web and probably a bit shorter than a wampa.
That said a Nexu is 1.83 meters in length and 0.94 meters in height.
A dew back is 2 meters in length and and probably 1 meter in height. So it could take up a 2x2 space but depends on how FFG want to scale things.
AT-ST - Sized
As an Imperial player who regularly has to fight two legendaries, I'd love some BIG units that block the road like a Nexu can.
It be nice if they were tougher than a Nexu though.
I hadn't considered the Nexu base, now that it is mentioned, it does seem like an ideal selection for scaling.
A taun taun would perhaps work better on the E Webb base no?
