Can't wait to see the New Order Star Destroyers for Armada. Looks better than most pictures suggest.

Not sure they have to be on a large base though, could maybe find its place in a swarmy kind of build?

And they should add solar sails and TIE panels to it before making miniatures in game. This isn't a ground game. The ship doesn't feel like a fit for it.

D-Day against the Resistance. Episode 7 VE-Day. Episode 8 must be the Pacific theater.

As seen in the trailer, they can fly in space, and thats enough reason to include them (The Lambda is no more a fighter than they are). Fluff wise, a game could center around a battle, an interception, before the ships land with the troops. I think they look alright and with the right rules, they would be a cool different thing for the Empire/ first order to have.

On top of that, they are armed. Heavily, even. But allegedly with no turrets.

They could drop troopers into space from the front peg like bombs. pew pew pew pew pew pew pew...

FFG will either go larger on a small base like they did with the crazy TIE Punisher, or the new FO Transport will be a smaller Large Based ship like the Aggressor and so forth.

Considering this is among the first four FO ships, they are prolly going to make it in the FA Wave 2 Expansions.

Um, they took the Lambda engines and rotated them a little (and added an extra pair). Oh no! It's not Star Wars anymore!

Joe Johnson and Mr. Macquirre would be shocked that this transport doesn't look SW enough, since it shares many details with many concept paintings and drawings.

Looking around at more images seems like these Attack Transports ARE going to be Large Ships. We can be pretty sure that Kylo's new attack-shuttle is getting the same treatment at a Lambda, and the FO Transports are larger than his ship.

I'd rather see the special forces tie next as far as FO releases go. But this transport IMO doesn't look too large...and its primary function is to be a troop transport not a fighter or bomber for that matter. There may yet be other ships we haven't seen. But i'd definitely like to see Kylos ship eventually too. I hope the Resistance has more than just X wings...otherwise its going to make for a dull sub faction.

I don't see a flying troop transport making it into the game anytime soon. Wave 9 will be the Special Forces TIE/fo and Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. By the time wave 10 becomes a factor there'll be more ships from Rogue One to draw from.
