Poe's ability changes 1 focus result to a hit, then weapons guidance can change 1 blank to a hit. For a net total of two extra hits.

He can change one eye to a hit using his ability, then spend the focus to change a blank into a hit.

At that point he would no longer have the token for his defensive buff. People are excited for his ability but it seems like it's not quite as good as Luke's. Sure he can use it to modify one eyeball result on offense, but Luke would be able to do that anyway.

If I roll hit, blank, focus can I then spend a focus token and will it change both the blank and focus to hits, or do I have to chose which to change? This would be on a ship other than Poe that could use weapons guidance.

Since they resolve at the same time, you have to choose.

Once you've spent your focus token to change all eyeballs to hits or use Weapons Guidance, you no longer have a focus token to spend for the other ability.

It may be worth noting that Poes ability does not require spending a focus just having one

Just wondering if Poe can count Esege Tuketu's Focus token as his own for the purposes of changing one eyeball to a hit? Tuketu's ability says only when attacking, so obviously not on defence, but attack seems legit even though Poe hasn't spent the token.

this is true

but the excitement for Poe is not just his ability (which, despite luke, is still sexy), it's also for being on an auto-thruster (boost!) bearing ship with a solid dial and his synergy with r5-p9 and bb-8 (which lets you "Advance sensor" out your focus by ptling off of the free roll, and then follow up with a TL for your normal action for fully modified attack dice and a "focus" for the defense)
