I wanted to incorporate the support shuttle from the thread the other day into a list. Rex has a lot to gain from the focus from Fleet Officer. However, I know that he also prefers Lone Wolf or Predator for rerolls, and I'm not sure about giving up the initiative bid to fit Lone Wolf in.

Basically, does anyone have any suggestions for making this list better? Additionally, I've never flown the shuttle before, so any tips on initial placement, tactics, etc. would be appreciated. This will mostly be for casual games with the possibility of some time in a few local tournaments.

i dont know about Yorr in this list. Its not like these ships stress themselves that much on command. drop Yorr to OGP, give Brath Lone wolf and Mk2, or Predator and MK2

I think Panic is right on, but other than that seems like a cool, thematic list! I like the idea of the two TIE's flying escort formation with the shuttle with the VIP officer on board, while Rex zips around...well, defending!

So my tips for flying the shuttle are along those lines: the shuttle's dial is BAD, and you don't have room for Engine Upgrade, which helps it a lot. You're going to need to keep your TIEs close to benefit from Fleet Officer anyway, but also to protect the shuttle's flanks. Your Defender has a white K-turn, which is flippin' sweeeet - use it to cover the shuttle's six from long range since you're rolling 4 dice with no defense modifier thanks to your HLC.

Also remember that, even though it can't turn very well, the shuttle is surprisingly fast in a straight line because of its large base. So don't be afraid to slow roll it a little and see what your opponent is gonna do, especially because it'll be hard to keep your TIEs in formation with the shuttle if you charge into the rocks and find yourself out of position. It rolls three freaking red dice, you want to be able to use them!
