I plan to get one of everything (already have TFA Core Set) with the only exception being 3 G-1A Starfighters. It is the ship of my favorite Bounty Hunter of all time, so I must pick up more than one. I also have the feeling that with it's stat line it could be this efficient beast of a ship at the generic level with some decent upgrade capability.

Just a jumpmaster and a mist hunter for me.

I already have the new core plus another next week... so my Wave 8 purchases will definitely be 1x everything regardless. The only doubles I may pick up will be the Tie/FO and the T-70.

I'm starting to go a little crazy with these spaceships, I had a specific plan of what I wanted with wave 7 but ended up buying 3 Ks, 2 Punishers, 4 Kirhaxz, 1 HT, and 3 core sets!!! I can't even begin to think what wave 8 will do to my finances. I have 2 raiders on the way too, oh boy

This looks to be the first wave where I don't anticipate wanting multiples. Each ship feels too unique. (As in, I have zero desire to own multiple Falcons or Outriders.) But I'll eventually get them all. I can't know how to play against every conceivable opponent's ship unless I have myself played every conceivable opponent's ship on my kitchen table. Some interactions must be experienced, from both sides of the battle, not just theorized or mentally gamed out. There's always something unexpected and surprising, even when playing myself.

And having 3 core sets now (2 old, 1 new) it suddenly occurs to me just how little the array of cards in a core set adds to my already massive collection. I know it's a bargain for the number of models you get, and having a fresh set of cardboard maneuver templates is nice after the wear and tear they receive (sorry, not yet a fan of aftermarket templates), but I just feel at this point that for $40, I should be getting a lot more upgrade oomph for my existing fleet. (Not a fan of list proxies either. Gotta shuffle through all that smooth laminated card stock to fully enjoy the list building.) So I really doubt I'll be going for another TFA core. (Then again, after initially hating the Starviper, I ended up going back for seconds. Restraint is not a strong suit.)

But one thing: are people really thinking of flying a pair of Ghosts in 100 point games?? That's gonna be ... I don't even know. Crowded, for sure.

So far, I've been handed an Original Red-Box Core set, minus the Ships + Pilots (So Damage, Upgrade, etc)... But the budget is so limited... I'm still trying to decide where to aim any purchasing...

One of everything for me, except for (maybe) the Mist Hunter because they'll be spammable scum B-Wings. I don't usually like buying multiples unless there's a specific list I need them for, and even then I often borrow from friends.

Wave 8 looks like it may be the first where I don't buy one of each ship right away. Upgrade cards could change that but there's been so much coming out recently that I have too many ships I don't use in games, I don't see myself buying as much.

My purchasing plan? Yes.

As much as I want to hold out in hope for a more legitimate fix for the T-65, that doesn't require me to buy the T-70, I know that I will probably have to buy 3 specifically for Integrated Astromech. I still have to buy the New Core for a damage deck, but I don't foresee myself building squads around the T-70.

I'm looking forward to buying the Mist Hunter though. Yay Zuckuss and 4-LOM!

Totally forgot about the Gozanti Cruiser. Another ship that I am excited for!

Even if there is an upgrade that I am near certain to want multiples of, I will be buying one and then deciding if more are worth it after some game play. Even thru Wave 6 I have initially bought multiples of certain ships in most waves and then never used multiples of that ship. So one of each at first, followed by a brief grace period of consideration, and then decisions on each ship case by case.

I'll be getting 1 of each for Wave 8 and the TFA core set. If I really like the TIE/fo I'll get second expansion pack and maybe another core so I can run 4-6.

Since I did get a Core set already, here's where I will start! Two of each is my norm on smalls, one on larges, unless it appears two might be useful.
