So since the raider my favorite pilot to fly has been Lt. Colzet, and it just hit me that this 'ace' has a generic with a higher PS than him.

Who is your favorite 'under dog' Pilot (Unique pilot with lower PS than same ships generic)?

Well, I was going to say my favorite underdog pilot was Porkins, but you said he has to have a PS lower than a generic. There aren't many of those. I'd say Tarn is my favorite who fits into that description.

Colzet is a great choice.

Lt. Lorrir by far. Hey, he's lower than a Royal Guard Pilot, right? Just wish he didn't need to take that stress. "Echo" and now "Zeta Ace" make the poor Lieutenant a little envious and quite sad.

Tarn is what comes to mind, but honestly I can't think of any other pilots that meet your criteria.

I would have said Scum Boba is my favourite under-appreciated ship though.

So this thread only applies to TIE Interceptors, TIE Advanced, X-wings, and it looks like one PS 3 unique TIE Fighter with the Gozanti. If you said equal to or less than, you can add the PS4 TIE in the Gozanti. Unfortunately, we don't know what they do. So basically the thread is asking:

When I think of an underdog, I think of somebody that the community has condemned as unplayable. I would choose Laetin Ashera. But since that's not an option, I guess Fel's Wrath. It's a really neat ability.

Kanos has the same PS as a generic, he's on there as well. But i see what you mean. it is pretty slim pickins

Lt. Lorrir is damned fun to fly, and against generics (other than RGPs), he's damned effective, too.

Really though, Kir Kanos makes me shake my head as to why he didn't get an EPT slot. He has a really amusing ability, but it's so painful to actually get real use out of it. Still haven't gotten around to trying him with Palpatine flying on Jendon's shuttle. Hopefully, the TLs passed out from Jendon and Palp's dice manipulation will help Kanos shine like the fidgety HLC he could be.

I am still hoping that they release some sort of 1pt modification that gives unique (Or maybe just PS3+ or 4+ or something?) pilots an EPT if it didn't already. Make it unique, if they must. But let us play with the fun toys they keep putting in the bargain bin by leaving off the EPT, yeah?

At a 1pt surcharge, it's never going to make things ultra-efficient... but PTL Kanos would at least have a place now and then.

Tarn in the sense of viability, especially with Integrated Astro. Really cool. But when it comes to fun it is Lt. Lorrir. That barrel roll is so awesome, too bad they screwed him up by forcing that stress on him.

I'm a fan of That Darn Tarn.
