I was playing with a friend of mine, and I was flying a ship with the wired upgrade. The ship had a stress token, and I attacked an enemy ship. One of the die results was a focus symbol. No problem, that die is rerolled. The new result is also a focus. My question is what happens with this new result? Does wired allow you to roll again until you receive a result that isn't a focus? My interpretation, which was admittedly biased as it was my ship, is that I continue to roll the die until I receive a result that isn't focus. My friend thought that you can roll the die again only once, and you are then stuck with the result. The end result didn't matter, as after rolling two or three focuses in a row, the next result was blank.
Question about Wired
Of the infinite number of times you can modify a die, only ONE can be a re-roll.
That includes Wired, Target Locks, Predator, Howlrunner's bonus, Jonus' Bonus, Han Solo's ability, et cetera.
Yep, the reroll rule handles this so the card doesnt have to.
I think the "Once per opportunity" rule covers this before you even get to multiple rerolls of the same dice. Otherwise you'd be able to trigger it on each die to reroll all your eyeballs.
