1000 Pts.

By Prevailing Winds, in X-Wing

If you had 1000pts to build a force of Rebels or Scum, fighting a Imperial force?

least 6 dagger B-wings.

Least 6 Gray TLT Y-wings

Probably 2 GR75 with slicer tools and frequency jammers(or whatever the cargo that improves jamming is)

Dozen PTLAwings maybe.

it would start with

IG a-b-c-d 51 points each

and 12 TLT y wings.

that much i know for sure.

10 Tantive IV?

Sooooooooooo many assault missiles.

If you had 1000pts to build a force of Rebels or Scum, fighting a Imperial force?

I would get a migraine from trying to focus in too many directions at once, and go do something else instead.

2 CR90s

2 GR75s

8 Xwings

8 Ywings

8 Awings

Is it the most effective list? Probably not, but it sure would be fun.

All 4 IG-2000s, at least 10 Thugs with TLT and Seismics, Serissu w/stealth, 4-6 Binyares with Assault Missiles, and Talonbane to sneak in and own any enemy epics

it would start with

IG a-b-c-d 51 points each

and 12 TLT y wings.

that much i know for sure.

add in 12 M3A HLC's

A Prince Xizor

Predator Virago FCS and Dampeners

Moral Eval

HLC K4 Greedo

3 HWKS with TLT

1 HWK with ion cannon

and 1 Z95

for an even 1000, then id set all movements to 1 forward and repeat until i passed by, then K and repeat...

also unkillable Prince anyone?

I'd go and play Bumper Cars/Dodgems instead.

Wow. 1000 points? What's the Epic points limit?

I'd need at least one CR90 and one or two GR75, because if you're gonna slap 1000 points on the table, you really need to keep from overcrowding. Say 250-300 points of Epic Ships.

I'd arrange things in squads. Not necessarily as squads of identical ships, like 8 B's and 4 X's and so on, but rather as complementary groups. having 2 B's work with 4 A's would complement each other as a strike force. Having a screen of X's around a Huge ship, complimented by a layer of Y's who 'commence attack runs' which are followed by a set of X's which come in to clean things up.

I dunno. I'd have a lot of fun with the 'thematic' approach, not just the 'this is what's going to win me this match'

12 T-65 X-Wings. All the named ones, and the rest I'd use Red Squadron Pilot and house rule a free PTL on each X-Wing. I'd then create tombstone inserts with the name of each unrepresented Rogue Squadron pilot to use instead of numbers.

From there, I'm not sure how many points I'd have. I might do a dozen more Green Squad pilots.

Fully kitted out, those ships would probably leave me enough points for a couple Epic ships.

we play on a 6 x 12 game table.
