Introducing Green Squadron (Heroes of the Aturi Cluster)

By WWPDSteven, in X-Wing

We're going to run a massive Heroes of the Aturi Cluster campaign this weekend, and decided we would all custom paint our own ships. Further, Mike from Space Rocks put an X-Wing scale Nebulon B into hyperspace for us to debut just in time to help Green Squadron take control of the sector. We will be posting full stories/campaign updates on our website over the coming weeks ( www.wwpd.net ) but I wanted to share the pilots here:

We will be posting pictures of our games over the next few days on twitter with the hashtag #talesofgreensquadron and then we'll do some cool writeups later!

Awesome

X-Wings are the favourites, but all are awesome. Green Six is the one I'd call THE favourite.

Question:

Is posting photo/video battle reports easier on Twitter than blogger?

I've neglected my blog as I really can't be bothered with it after being here.

Yeah Green 6 is the best! Jon is an excellent painter.

We'll be posting batreps on the website, and just a few snaps on Twitter. The batreps will be much more narrative than crunchy.

Guess I should sign on Twitter then

Not the Rhez-Nor for a command ship?

Alright, we are 15 games in, having started Thursday night and gone incredibly hard for several days and well into the early morning.

We are having an absolute blast. Here's some highlights:

Awesome!

Can you explain how you created the fuzzy explosions/fire? Looks great!

They are a product by Gale Force 9 called "Smoke and Flames". Had them for years, so I have no idea if they're still available!
