Eh, I'm not a fan of PTL Maarek. Vader is 1pt cheaper, PS9 and no stress PTL. How about this? Yes you lose some PTLs but Vader gets extra crits and Brath gets defensive and offensive rerolls.
only 'problem' i forsee is that i personally hate running Vader without EU and predator.
Your second list is better, but change SD to HU on omega ace. Since Omega Ace does not have autothrusters and will sometimes be using all tokens offensively, it will frequently happen that he's rolling naked greens when attacked, and SD is rarely worth it in such cases.
And Brath + HLC for life. 'Mangler' is so not worth it on him, especially if he has PtL
