Think about it. We already know wave 8 and the gozanti are up next. There's not reason to believe that FFG has another secret release up its sleeve. It could be well into 2nd quarter of 2016 before we see fleshed out episode 7 stuff.

Honestly would not be surprised if one of them is a damage deck and the other a new mat.
Probably waiting on the movie before more stuff is revealed - which is why we have such nameless ace pilots. A TIE/FO blister with Captain Phasma as a pilot might give away some of the plot, because it could indicate that at some point she hops on board and starts downing X-Wings. etc.

That's my thought as well. There's already plenty of discussion around the "next wave" of toy releases, because not everything hit on Force Friday, perhaps for this exact reason.
It certainly wouldn't be held up by any form of a manufacturing delay, because they're already being sold in the core set.

Its almost as though they are making me buy more core sets so I can get some of that tasty T70 action (well not making me, but pushing the hand of my nerd to cash regulator)
I would wait until at least Saturday before making that bet. They already said more is on the way.

I hope they come out soon but i do feel like maybe they aren't going to, doesn't make sense not to announce them along with the core set otherwise really does it?
As for the pilot names, again it;s a good point, but the "Spoiler" surnames I assume are Rey Solo and Finn Calrisian and neither will be piloting a T-70 or Tie Fo/O and we have seen another named X-wing pilot in the toys. The Expacks will only need 2 "Aces" (is that what we are calling uniques now?)
Maybe another Luke Skywalker for the T-70?
I just don't know, but i'm leaning towards not going to be releasesd soon (as was my initial feeling about the expack before the announcement)
It is just a bit sad, becasue I'm not going to be buying multiple core set without seeing the cards that come with the expansions.

We already knew Wave 8 and the Gozanti were up next before Core Set 2 was teased, announced, then released. So that means nothing.

Except for the part where they number their releases and there are two more unannounced release numbers between Core Set 2 and Wave 8.

Black T-70 is probably an Aces pack or not happening. T-70 and Foo Fighter expansions will almost certainly be same minis with different pilots and upgrades. I would honestly be surprised if the expansions DON'T hit game stores at the same time as the new core. Seems like a good way to sooth feelings with their regular distribution channel after the Target only launch.
Hit the Bowling Green KY target last Sunday and they still had at least 5 (of their 6) core sets on the shelf. Curious about the over-all sales numbers for XWM at Target this time around.
It'll likely be awhile before we see the expected T-70 X-Wing and TIE/FO blisters. One of the biggest reasons, IMO, is the fact that any named pilots, and possibly some upgrades, that might come with them, could be spoilers. Possibly huge spoilers.
Think about it - how many T-70 pilots do we know of? Imagine if they previewed the T-70 expansion and people coudl see Han Solo as a T-70 pilot! The internet would explode! We don't know what kind of ships Finn and Rey might pilot, (Though it is possible to expect they might be options for an updated Falcon). Maybe there is an all new X-Wing pilot who will be as significant as Wedge, but we aren't familiar with her/him yet?
The same goes for the TIE Fighters. Will we see Finn in a TIE Fighter? Also don't pilot cards often have LAST NAMES? Suppose someone's last name is Skywalker, or Solo.... or even Calrissian?!?!? We need these types of things to remain secret for a few more months so our heads can stay attached firmly to our bodies, lest they explode all over the place.

I'll bet we get the new T70 and Tie/FO (with TIE COG as title) whenever there's another new trailer that spoils more of the character names. And I'll bet we get a week's notice after the new trailer releases before its in game stores. It will be movie release date at the latest!
With all the whining people did about the Core coming to Target first, it would be fun to see the two other products come to LGS as a semi-secret release, but as to what they really plan to do with them, I have no idea.
I just feel like there's no good reason to have not already announced the expacks if they were coming next week too.
