High Res Episode VII Pictures
I don't mind 99% of the Neo-Stormtrooper armor, but that black line from the corner of the Frown to the eyes just bugs me. It looks much better with that stripe removed.
There are lots of variation if you zoom in. The armor may be different models. The blaster rifles could just be differences in parts used by the props department?
Armor - I see distinct differences. It looks like 4 different models of armor. It might be Standard, Scout, Snow, and Flametroopers.
Rifles - Slight variations throughout the pictures. The stocks look different with one not having a stock at all and those with stocks vary. That is the most notable difference, but there are also differences in the gadgets on the side and the scopes. Again, it could just be differences in pieces used by the props department like we had in the OT, but I had assumed they would be all identical (mass produced). Looking closely it could be simply one has the stock removed (possibly done with a push of a button). Then, it appears you have two distinct models. There is the model carried by the Scout? trooper and the Snow trooper. I think they are the same. Then there is the model carried by the officer and the standard trooper (with stock removed). Simply a matter of it being the E14 and later E14a1? (or whatever they are called if it's been released).
What is that thingy under the barrel on the blaster rifle? At first glance, from a distance, it makes you think of the butt end of the folding stock on the E11. But it's not. Is it a flip down forward grip? It does appear to have a hinge/bolt, but isn't seen deployed. Anyone seen pics of it deployed as a handle?
Anyone else sorta get the feeling that Han and Leia won't be married in this new timeline? It's sort of a old movie thing when you bring back old characters for a new movie; they broke up in the mean time so they can get back together in the new movie! It's stupid and I don't like it but I get the feeling that's what's going to happen to our pair.
They have names right on there. Snowtrooper and flametrooper. The rest are labeled regular stormtrooper.
