If people are afraid of competitive games and losing tell them to use the Empire.... then they will always end the game in a TIE.

That's actually a great idea. I know a couple of couples (ho ho) who are both quite into the game. My wife's problem is that she's hyper-competitive and hates (HAETS) losing so she doesn't get into anything competitive.

I did good but not my best came 2nd in swiss after Morgan Reid who was the only undefeated all day then in top 8 both me and my opponent made some bad choices (mine were really bad) but his green dice won him the game in the end

I started with the TIE Defender, just cause I liked the model.

Then I thought...maybe I should try this game out...

I played in a furball at a gaming convention, and did well enough as an Imperial flying a Defender to win the ship I'd flown. (Efficiency aside, it's a pretty chunky statline, and a daring Hard 3 put me millimeters out of arc of no less than four ships guns in one go. It left me the only Imperial alive when time was called against six Rebels. )

My wife had been watching the game, and then quietly requested I start collecting it.
