As I type she's packing cloths for her and the kids and heading to her parents first thing tomorrow morning.
she has said she's coming back Monday ![]()
Once I get the co-op campaign printed out (that is so awesome, find the thread guys) I'll be softly getting my wife into this game.

Dare to dream, for great dreamers dream great things.
Playing without dice means they can't betray you.
Your dice can (will)betray you, don't trust them.

Happily my wife plays and is even more competitive than me. Sadly, it means we will have to buy 2 new damage decks...

Well of course, we need to know how he did on Nationals!

You have no idea. Last year I skipped our 8 year wedding anniversary to go to a tournament. Not a store champs or regionals just a chance to win a Han promo card
I think 'X Wing Nut' was a good choice for your forum callsign.
If people are afraid of competitive games and losing tell them to use the Empire.... then they will always end the game in a TIE.
It's one of the many zany reasons I play empire.
I feel better about either losing or taking a fall, while espousing mustache twirling villainy.

That's actually a great idea. I know a couple of couples (ho ho) who are both quite into the game. My wife's problem is that she's hyper-competitive and hates (HAETS) losing so she doesn't get into anything competitive.

I did good but not my best came 2nd in swiss after Morgan Reid who was the only undefeated all day then in top 8 both me and my opponent made some bad choices (mine were really bad) but his green dice won him the game in the end
Oh and my wife did come home.
I started with the TIE Defender, just cause I liked the model.
Then I thought...maybe I should try this game out...
Edited by DarthEnderXI played in a furball at a gaming convention, and did well enough as an Imperial flying a Defender to win the ship I'd flown. (Efficiency aside, it's a pretty chunky statline, and a daring Hard 3 put me millimeters out of arc of no less than four ships guns in one go. It left me the only Imperial alive when time was called against six Rebels.
)
My wife had been watching the game, and then quietly requested I start collecting it.
So she could play it with me.
... Yeah, I didn't mess around at the sales table. ![]()
