Our group just finished our first campaign, only one of the 5 had completed other campaigns. This game is STILL friekin' awesome! We lost "Last Stand", but it actually ~felt~ like had we made a few other decisions, and had x-men not come up for the imperials 8 times... like we could have had a shot at winning it. We got blown out on the last turn, but dang it was still fun. I have to say, "Last Stand" and the Han Solo missions are my favorite. Things hit you that you NEVER saw coming, and I can't wait to play more of the missions and see more of these surprises in the storyline. Yes, this is the first of this type of game I've played. The only thing I can think that had an arguably better experience the first time through was Risk: Legacy. I wish now that I had played Descent!

I think our group is going to move onto a mini-campaign next with Twin Shadows. Without spoiling anything, have other groups been having this much fun? And, what's your favorite mission so far?

My wife and I had an awesome time with the campaign, and we've done the first mission of Twin Shadows. So far, TS is VERY fun. The theme in TS seems stronger than the normal campaign, and instead of coaxing you into it they start you out guns blazing with upgraded players.

I really recommend getting the figure packs, if nothing else you gotta get Boba Fett and Kayn Somos, that way your can win those characters when you play other campaigns. When choosing your class deck, be mindful that Kayne Somos is a trooper and a leader so he can benefit from attachments and affects that pertain only to those characteristics.
