ISD and a bucket to hold all the MC80s I meet in combat.

I have a slight partiality to the MC80. However I will certainly be getting a couple of both. I think that their appearance on the gaming tables at my FLGS should do a lot toward boosting interest in the game, especially from those who have been reluctant to take the plunge into a new game. Both ships are iconic and very recognizable to the true fan of the SW universe.

Home One, if I have to choose, but definitely both. Also the MC30, I think that thing's gorgeous!

I am in the both camp (technically I am exited about ALL of wave 2).

I am a little more excited for the ISD, but that is just due to me playing primarily Imperial. The MC80 though will probably make me want to play Rebels more...those broadsides will be interesting.

Despite playing primarily rebels, I'm more excited for the ISD. Mostly because that thing really just looks scary!

Thing is, I can't find a reason to buy more than one MC80. I can convince myself that two Imperials could be workable (even if it's chasing down a fleeing YT-1300), but when I think about more MC80s, I just want to put Assault frigates in their place and give them turoblasers or something.

I'm not sure I can either. I plan on getting both, but only one of each, in fact because I also play X-Wing and Imperial Assault, I'm limiting myself to one of each ship in Armada. Well other then the Raider, but mostly because they're cheap and a single vette isn't that interesting IMO.

But even if I was buying more then one of each, I'm not sure I'd bother with more then one MC80. I think part of that is because a MC80 could be tricky to use, but a ISD or even AFMK 2 is a bit less so.

ISD, but I need rogues & villains. All my Armada ships serve double duty as table dressing for my Star Wars D6 campaign. You just cant beat the pucker factor an ISD provides!
