For use with X-Wing too, but my true motive was to buy the Armada Starter Set. But after buying an X-Wing Starter only two months before a new one, I'm beginning to wonder if I should wait to see if there's a Force Awakens Armada Starter Set.

I'm tempted to hold off on buying any Imperial Star Destroyers as this image makes the New Order look good.

Don't forsee it. We're still plugging through the Previews of the unreleased Wave II... If they do add some Force Awakens stuff, its likely to be later, and not likely to be a Starter Set, as I see it.

I'd say no. Personally i really doubt we'll see a Force Awakens starter. It likely would have been announced. Further, there hasn't been the slightest sniff of one....the X-Wing one was known about waaay in advance. lastly, we dont even know what capital ships will be in TFA. We know about 1 Star Destroyer so far, and even that looks closer to ISD size than a VSD (so not starter material).

In short....i'd just get it. I massively doubt anything will change.

Still going to wait on the ISD. I'm certain the New Order Star Destroyer will be the same size, or tiny bit bigger, than an Imperial. If the new Ties are anything to go by, it'll be a tiny improvement too.

I wouldnt hold your breath waiting for the FO Star Destroyer. We're only just getting the previews for wave 2. It's going to be a long while until we see Wave 3, assuming it's even in Wave 3 (which again, i doubt).

I think part of the difference in thought on the Subject between X-Wing and Armada, is that, in X-Wing, the new Core set is simply *Better*. The Old X-Wing was much maligned and with 7 other waves between Releases, it was showing its age.

Armada is NOT that. We have not had enough releases for things to have fallen along the wayside as "not worth their points" et al.

If one does come out, there would be no reason it would be a *replacement* for anything... Even the ISD seems to be showing that it doesn't REPLACE the Victory so much as provide a different set of benefits.

I agree go ahead and get an Armada starter pack i just got my TFA X-wing starter packs (i got 2 because the new x-wings look cool and wont be available untill feb) yesterday and personally i think disney s trying to get a little early revenue from the new movies "toys" because they Know we will gobble it up. However the X-wing and TIE fighter are about the only things to be released from the new movie. So if you want something "special" i would recomend the X-wing starter pack but the new X=wing and TIE fighter are to be realsed as exspansion packs in early feb. according to amazon sellers.
