What Legends ships would you love to play in Armada?

By darksaber19, in Star Wars: Armada

As we all know, the old EU is no longer Canon, and with the new films on the horizon providing plenty of new ships for us to blast each other with it is unlikely we'll see any Legends ships, at least for a few years. So as per the title, which no-longer-Canon ships would you have loved to see in Armada?

For me I'd want the MC140 Scythe class and the Pellaeon class Star Destroyer from the Legacy series, partly because I love the look of them and also because both ships would provide some very interesting challenges to play properly.

I actually think we will see plenty of Legends ships...i doubt there will be more than 1-2 capitals in the new movie. That aside, i'd like:

Dreadnought

Immobiliser Cruiser

Assault Frigate Mk1

Strike Cruiser

Vindicator Cruiser

Several others too, but those are the main ones. Luckily....worst case scenario, some of them are already obtainable!

My whishes:

Wave 3:

Imperium:

- Immobilizer 418

- Lancer Frigate

Alliance:

- Neutron Star-class Bulk Cruiser

- Quasar escort carrier

Wave 4:

Imperium:

- Ton-Falk-class escort carrier

- Strike cruiser

- Imperial Fighter part II (Xg-1, TIE-Avenger, TIE-Defender, TIE-Phantom, TIE-Heavy Bomber)

Alliance:

- Liberty Type Mc80

Scum (Rebels, Pirates and others):

- Fighterpack (Z-95, T-Wing, R-41 Starchasers ...)

Wave 5:

Imperium:

- Nebulon B2

- System Patrol Craft

Alliance:

- Assualt frigate Mk.I

Both sides

- Dreadnought

- Transport and shuttles (Lambda Shuttle,Delta-class JV-7 Escort shuttles, Delta-class DX-9 Stromtrooper transport,Gamma-class ATR-6 Assault transport, Beta-class ETR-3 Assault transport)

Wave 6:

Imperium:

- Carrack Cruiser

- Tartan Cruiser

Alliance:

- DP20 Correllian Gunship

- Marauder

Wave 7:

Freighters, minefields and stations wave

Scoutpack (Y-Wing Longprobe, Recon A-Wing, TIE Scout, TIE Vanguard)

Wave 8:

New Republic:

- New Republic Fighters (E-Wing, K-Wing)

- Republic Star Destroyers

Wave 9:

CIS:

-Lucrehulk-class

-Providence-class

-Recusant-class light destroyer

-Droid Fighter packs

Both Sides/ Old Republic:

- Venator Class

- Acclamator class

- Old Republic Fighters (Arc, Jedi-Fighter, V-Wing)

Wave 10
Mandalorian ships

Wave 11

Hapan and Chiss ships

Wave 12

Hutt and Blacksun ships

But I am fine with a New Order and Resistance Wave (or 3 for each of the new movies [Wave 6, Wave 8, Wave 10]).

Me to myself:

-define ship

-no man, the death star is a battle station

-ouch!

What the heck is the Imperium?!

I guess I'd like a Calamari Cruiser with wings like in Return of the jedi, but that one is canon, isn't it?

Then I suppose I want the Star Destroyer that had a Death Star Cannon. And the Crusader-class corvette that the Empire and Mandalorians both used.

The Eidolon strike-class cruisers look neat, though I don't think many were built. But ships can be made up anyway, so why not make up production history?

Eh, nevermind, the Eidolon is kinda dumb. Too fanfiction-y.

And Interdictors would probably be useless since the tractor beams achieve any in-game mechanic you would use Interdictors for.

Basically all of the Legacy era capships, all of the capital ships in the Rebellion PC game and all of the Movie era canon capital ships not already in the system, the Nebulon-B2s, and the NR New Program ships.

The Allegiance-class Battlecruiser

Why do people keep saying this?

Such lack of imagination.

What I don't like there is that something that should be a consistent ability, or range of abilities, is tied to individual titles.

The gravity well ability of the Interdictor should be something consistent across all ships, with individual titles adding spice rather than core abilities.

The problem is that people have trouble locking down a 'core ability' for an Interdictor. What were they used for? Preventing hyperspace travel in a localised area. An ability which only interacts with a single element of the current game, which is the Hyperspace Assault objective.

How about if an Interdictor came with a couple of specific objectives that could only be selected if your fleet included an Interdictor? The obvious one is a Hyperspace Ambush where one fleet is pulled out of hyperspace into an ambush, but there could be a couple of others as well if we are more open minded with our idea of objectives.

For me it's probably the Nebulon-B2, or the range of XQ space platforms for some kind of campaign mission.

I'm a space dreadnought kind of guy, so the Imperial already covers a lot of the desires of what I'd like to see (and the Raider rounds things out nicely). I do wish we could get some more advanced specialist fighters for the Imperial Navy however... TIE Defenders, TIE Phantoms, Assault Gunboats, and Skiprays would be welcome augmentations to the navy. Really don't like that scum are taking up a role that the Imperial Navy should already have ships for.
