Preparing for Sullust

By ungentlemanly, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I love playing Rebels and I picked up a 2nd Assault Frigate today and came up with this list for the Sullust campaign.

My Idea is send the A's and Salvation down one side (unless some one pick Hyperspace assault) and gun the assault frigates to try and get behind the enemy as soon as possible.

[ REBEL FLEET (299 points)
1 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Garm Bel Iblis - Advanced Projectors - Enhanced Armament (113)
2 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Intel Officer - Advanced Projectors - Enhanced Armament - Paragon (100)
3 • Nebulon-B Support Refit - XI7 Turbolasers - Salvation (64)
4 • A-wing Squadron (11)
5 • A-wing Squadron (11)
6 • Objectives - Advanced Gunnery - Hyperspace Assault - Dangerous Territory (0)

Personal opinion I suppose, but IMO Raymus is the FIRST thing you put on salvation (apart from the title)

A dice dependent ability can really use the reroll, plus he makes the ship very maneuverable (either nav and bank token for later or burst from speed 1 to 3 or vice-versa)

On slightly redundant with garm (rounds 2-4 and 6)

My first suggestion is drop Intel Officer and get Raymus somewhere, second id swap hyper space for contested outpost maybe.

What about this tweak?

REBEL FLEET (300points)
1 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Garm Bel Iblis - Advanced Projectors - Enhanced Armament (113)
2 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Advanced Projectors - Enhanced Armament (88)
3 • Nebulon-B Escort Frigate -Raymus Antilles - XI7 Turbolasers - Salvation (77)
4 • A-wing Squadron (11)
5 • A-wing Squadron (11)

Thanks for the input, Raymus on Salvation is good. It is going to be tested tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes.

I got murdered. it was a bloodbath, but one of my own making. I rushed the Frigates forward too quick and could not get behind the star destroyers.

My opponent set up brilliantly and controlled his position admirably by using speed 0 to force me to over commit forward.

The two frigates were dead by the end of turn 4 but the Neb fought on and managed to survive through to the end of the game but could not bring either of the 2 VSD's down.

I am not going to give up on this list and I will try it again. Thanks for the advice.

What objective was being used? Also you made sure he didn't use any of his defense tokens when he was at 0 right?
