I'm in love with the BB8! I keep trying to get the K wing with mines/bombs to work. This is the second version of the squad, I changed 5 points around.

Poe is always fun, he can juke crazy good. The K gets better every game. And my BBBBZ buddy convinced me outmanuever would keep Jake relevant. Had a few practice games, seems to work well, but I do not know how well it can hope to fight massed TLT.

Drop advanced slam and change ion bombs to conner net and you're golden.

...I haven't actually used the k-wing, so I can't say. However, I know how incredible the conner net is, and its worth taking on a low PS ship. If you want to keep advanced slam, you could change outmanoeuvre on Jake to veteran instincts to fit in the conner net. Ion bombs would work better on a higher PS anyway.

It seems like Advanced SLAM might be useful with Action oriented bombs (such as Conner Net and Proximity Mines), so why not drop Jake's Outmanever to VI and replace Ion Bombs with Conner Net? VI Jake would let him compete better a the a 9 PS level and your Warden would be able to drop net/mines after using Adv. Slam to get ordinance directly in front of targets before they move. I normally love Outmaneuver on Jake, but I prefer PTL and VI when I have to choose. He can still put out some damage w/o Outmaneuver.

My problem with him(Jake) has been he is not putting out any damage 2 times out of 3. Connors are really rad, I just don't see how to fit them in, unless I drop advanced slam. People that get 2 red dice ships to deal damage...that's just not in my experience. Two red dice may as well be one red. I just don't understand how people make them work. I played a game with an accuracy corrector punisher today. He was doing one or none against action less tie fighters. I loved the ship... But, two red dice just don't get the damage out for me. Turn after turn of unanswered shots against action less ships and nothing.

Would you be willing to drop Jake all together then to try and get some firepower? If you aren't set on him as a pilot, you have a lot of options.
