Favourite Kihraxz build?

Now that some of us have had a chance to try out this gorgeous ship... what kits are people liking?

Myself, I've tried Talonbane Cobra with Lightning Reflexes & Glitterstim which was decent. Turned around on a Soontir for a R1 shot with focus, but not sure if it was worth double stress (and I didn't deal any dmg <_< )

I've also seen some TCs with VI, EU, Glitterstim which seems a tad expensive but eliminates the PS bid. BSA Pred seems like a pretty cheap anti-swarm option.

I've had pretty good success with Black Sun Ace and Predator. 26 pts, not too crazy.

I have not yet played with the ship directly, but on paper 5 of them on the board seems pretty tough. Stats are similar enough to an x-wing. Just a lot of fire power you bring to the table and decent durability.

Jokes aside, that's a really solid build.

The Kihraxz is a solid, dependable ship.

Cartel Marauder x 5 as skoltothalamos pointed out about has some serious damage output and a solid amount of shield and hull to chew through.

Or if you wanted to give yourself some protection from Predator and a PS advantage you could go

I only had the opportunity to play this squad once, but I really liked it:

Latts dishes out the target locks and the Marauders benefit from -1 agility to enemies

Get a Marauder into range one and TL, Latts spends a TL for -1 agility, and the Marauder is rolling 4 red dice with TL and Glitterstim. Scary.

Cobra with glitterstim and crack shot. Every scum list I've made lately has ended up with a gap that he fits in perfectly. And he usually decides games.

I find just predator and Glitterstim to be just fine. Crackshot is nice too if you have some point ts spare.

So, one of each type. Played a single game with this build so far, but it was lots of fun. I managed to destroy a Miranda (TLT, Recon Spec, Adv SLAM, Seismic) + Dash (PTL, Kyle, HLC, Outrider, Engine) build. I lost the Ace, the Cartel was down to 1 hull and both Talonbane and Graz were down to 2 hulls.

The Kihraxz build I'm eager to try is...

Black Sun Ace (Predator, Glitterstim, Shield Upgrade) x2

Talonbane Cobra (Lone Wolf, Glitterstim, Engine Upgrade)

My favorite Carrot-Fighter build:

Black Sun Ace + Crackshot + Adv. Homing Missiles (27 points)

This is a scary, cheap ship than can fire after the tokens have been stripped (even from Large ships (Falcon/Firespray)), -or- it'll force them to save their tokens. Staying in Range 2 is easy if you only need to do it once. And the Crackshot could be saved for late-game kill-shots.

It's a great little list. You've just got to be careful with your Scyks.

it's a 37 point build... but it's all offense!

Cobra+EU+Predator+Glitterstim

I want COOOOOOBBRRRAAAAAAAA! (sorry, my GI Joe days got the better of me there) to roll 5 red as often as possible. EU helps in get up close and personal, Predator gives him the re-rolls, and Glitrrestim makes sure that all his rolls count at that moment that they really need to.

I'm gonna give the BSA with Pred a few runs.

It's cheap enough to keep your ship count high and brings some Pred for swarms and TLT spam.

2 x BSA [predator]

Yeah this is the SCUM X-Wing and it needs to be in a swarm'ish role.

The solid workhorse ship we needed.

Even though talonbane is a bit of a glass cannon for jousting....I can't help myself! Try this build for all you jousters out there, it may not be the best but its fun!

I ran this bomber loadout with 3x TLT Ys at NOVA and it really didn't pull its weight - wish I had a 4th TLT Y tbh.

anyone have a Cobra build to share? I've got some silly ones, but nothing competitive.

Feel like he really needs EU and Glitter, but then a question of what else... VI would help against a lot of things, but you'd be suffering from very little action economy. =/

Also he kinda dies to 2ndary weapons like dash.

And the 4hull, man you get crits pretty often.

Talon, with Kavil and a pack of Y's with TLT's and some little extras... might be great.
