I have been playing with a few builds since the new core set was released and this is proving to be nicely effective but I haven't had a chance to test against a live player yet and was curious what the more experienced crowd thought of this build -

Darth Vader (36) TIE Advanced (29), Homing Missiles (5), Squad Leader (2)

Soontir Fel (32) TIE Interceptor (27), Royal Guard TIE (0), Push the Limit (3), Targeting Computer (2)

Zeta Squadron Pilot (16) x 2

Can't say as to how experienced I am, but it strikes me that an Engine Upgrade might be better for Vader than the Homing Missiles. Which leaves an extra point for Vader to take the X1 title and an Advanced Targeting Computer.

Though without being able to get ahold of the cards (Raider...) it's a bit of a moot point.

Why Vader was not played before? Cause Tie/A was lacking.

How you want to field Vader? Like before....

What VaporTrail wrote is 100% correct. Vader is the best target for the Tie/A fix cause he can always do 2 actions and 1 can always be TL while other can be some defense like Evade, Focus or boost.

also might i reccomend dropping targeting computer on Fel, for Autothrusters. survivability trumps all

same reason people take Fett with Slave one, idk just do it, its free.

I jokingly got yelled at once for running fett with Andrasta and no upgrades using it.

put my opponent on such a tilt ended up winning.
