Any advice on Carry Cases for X-Wing Miniatures I'm currently looking at Battle foam and KR but are the other company who make foam trays/Cases. Any Help would be great as I know few other at our gaming Club are also in the boat as me.
Carry Cases for X-Wing Miniatures
I use kr multicase myself I've never had a breakage with 40k or x-wing.
if you do a search on these forums for "Storage" you will find more than you ever asked for - 20 minutes reading a few threads and you'll be an expert.
As an example, this is a great thread , you'll read lots about Plano 1374 's, you should also check out Feldherr and Battlefoam .
I have an idea for one..... the new Falcon toy is very large and can open up.
i want to pimp it out with padding and turn it into a x-wing carry case ..... yes I am a very sad excuse for a human

Too funny!
It's been done (not by me, saw this online ages ago):
I use Battlefoam myself and it's fantastic. I've never had any minis break.
I use some simple hardware cases that are compartmentalised, and so far they've travelled over 1,200 km up and down the country without so much as a scratch to anything. I use a layer of felt cloth on the bottom of the compartment, and the ships sit on their stands and rest on the felt. It's real simple and and at $10 a case, it's cheap and it works for me.
I use Games Workshops new carrying case, I really like it, the foam can be moved so that your ships can fit snuggly. This is the one I have and I can fit plenty of ships plus my plano token case, movement templates, and card case all inside it.

Can't recommend Feldherr enough, I've got a large hard case for mass storage and then a smaller softcase for taking to shops for games/tournaments.
I use this for carrying one squad to game night or a tournament.

I have all the tokens and game stuff in the top and the upgrade cards, ships, large tokens (prox mine), scenario stuff are down below. I do have to carry large ships in something else and so I'm looking at expanding to something like the 3600 to accommodate the bigs.

I'll admit, nothing beats custom foam for protection but Plano boxes are inexpensive (on Amazon Prime anyway) and if you add some cloth, paper, etc to the cubbies, the minis don't get jostled.
