Coming in from Hypser Sapce Assault

By Buddha7305, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

So in come in from Hyper space assault is this part of your move phase, so you do not get to shoot your capital ship the turn you come in, but can shoot your squadrons during the squadron phase if they are in range of a ship or squadron?

No the objective specifies that you come in at the start of the round. That means the ship can move and attack the turn it comes in.

It's just a deployment mini-phase.

How does this interact with Tarkin's ability?

If I have one ship kept to the side for Hyperspace Assault, but I am gaining a command token for all friendly ships at the start of each Ship Phase, does my Hyperspace Assault ship receive a token from Tarkin?

If you want to, yes.

If I had Garm and Hyperspaced in a Frigate it would not get the tokens unless it had came in turn 5

It actually does not. The ship in Hyperspace is considered out of play. This is why you don't set its dials.

Tarkin. Not Garm. That was the question :)

Re. Tarkin the ship comes in at the start of the round, while Tarkin triggers in the Ship phase.

The Empire is FAR superior to the Rebels! :P

I may have misread the question: the ship gains no tokens on the rounds BEFORE entering play. Only on the round it enters.
