What is the two vessel that jump into the battle at the beginning of the Season 2 Episode 1. It was not the Imperial Assault Carrier. It looked like a mini Star Destroyer with turrets?

They are smaller old republic cruisers/frigates that the Empire inherited and still operate in the Outer Rim. I forget the exact designation however.
Edit: it is he Arquintens class light cruiser
Edited by GrimmyVThe Arquitens light cruiser.

Check the edit time on my post. Sithborg got ninjard too. Take a picture, it's the first and only time I will ever get the info out there before the rest of the internets.
I wonder if FFG will release that vessel?
It's slated at around 250m in length - so not very likely, too big. For Armada, almost certainly though.
IIRC, the stated reason to not do the Lancer-class frigate was because it was about 250m long, so they engineered an Imperial corvette that's 300m long. Why wouldn't that same reason keep them from doing the Arquitens? Maybe because it's more "wedge" shaped?
I'm not sure, but I think it might be the Arquitens-class light cruiser.

The Imperial Raider corvette is 150m long, not 300m. The CR-90 corvette is also 150m.
The Lancer and Nebulon B frigates are way too big for X-wing without fudging the scale drastically. The light cruiser in question (another frigate, really) would be right at home in Armada, but not our game, unfortunately. Still I would love to have a mini of it to put next to the Armada ships when I get em, and the Raider, if and when I finally gave in and get that too.
I still can't believe someone actually mocked up a Nebulon B for X-wing to scale for home games. Now if that someone could repost those pics in this thread...

There's actually a Neb model scheduled to come out this month that's being sold by a 3rd party company. I imagine it's only a matter of time before Disney shuts them down, but they're only like $250.

This was the thread:

Well, I knew it was because of the size but whoopsie.
