The one of the Gozanti cruiser in orbit with TIEs attached.

Also any of these:

These make awesome wall paper.

Thanks again.

Sorry, I can't seem to find large versions of those. The showcase page seems to be the only source of the high resolution photos.

I've added the Armada ones to my first post and Imperial Assault below, though!

We know Poe flies a Grey/Blue X-wing as well from the trailer...

I think its odd how several of the new cards, or at least a good portion of them are in-atmosphere scenes/images. When the game is meant to be set in space, it just seems a bit odd. Which had me thinking a lot of the battles in the new film may take place in atmosphere as well, which is evident by the falcon being chased by tie fighters in the trailers.

I suspect that if the battles in the movie are not all in atmosphere, the ones in space will be against the backdrop of a Nebula...

Black X-Wings and Black TIE's just don't look great against a black starfield background...

"‘It’s the wild colour scheme that freaks me out. Every time you try and operate these weird black controls that are labeled in black on a black background, a little black light lights up in black to let you know you’ve done it.’"

Zaphod Beeblebrox,

Zaphod Beeblebrox,

You just won the internets.

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I don't how much FFG knows about TFA but I doubt they were shown the film or even clips of it. Most probably a few who are high up in the chain had general knowledge about the movie's plot but the whole project was strictly on a "need to know" basis and was conducted behind closed doors.

When they gave me the job for the box cover they provided me with some high res set photos and schematics of the ships, all of which were password protected; enough for me to do the job that was required. I was also told to keep the backgrounds generic so as to not give any plot details away but looking at some of the cards from the new set I wonder if they had gone back on that instruction and decided to let slip a few hints in the art anyway.

I noticed that in all of the artwork, all of the TIE/FOs have little antennae on them that aren't on the models.

Actually they are on the models; they look like little stumps on the right strut. I assume actual antennas would snap off very easily considering how small and thin it would have to be.

At least they left the mounts on, so people who wan't to add detail can glue a piece of plastic or something on there and paint it black. If you look at the larger tie SF black series tie then you can see the antennae has alot of detail that couldn't be replicated at this scale.

I really wish FFG would just release a lot of this as artwork for us to **** around with.

There's a few pictures I'd love to have full-sized and slap on the front of my Plano.

We know Poe flies a Grey/Blue X-wing as well from the trailer...

Except at some point, in the film, he absolutely gets an orange and black one.

All the toys show it:

And there's also this:

We didn't get a bloodstripe Interceptor until a while after Baron Fel's card came out. (Not the only pilot to fly one, but definitely "his" paint job.) So I would not be surprised if the orange and black T-70 comes in a later expansion.

I don't think a unique colourscheme X-Wing in either the core set or the main expansion would make sense - those are both things people but multiples of to have multiple ships, you wouldn't want multiple unique colour jobs.
