Hey Folks,
CotGk has been "On the Boat" for an awfully long time. Has there been an update or does anyone with more experience with FFG shipping care to guess what's up?

Well, it's a holiday weekend in the United States, so could just be that a lot of folks are out of the office on an extended weekend, and thus nobody around to update that portion of the Upcoming products page.
News items are pretty easy to automate to post since they're planned out ahead of time, so no staff needed for those.
On the Boat for 6 weeks isn't unheard of, in fact, its pretty common. I'd say we'll see it shipping this week or next.
It still takes a few weeks to go from shipping to "on shelves", though. I reckon it will be end of October or start of November before we get our excited hands on it - possibly a bit quicker in the US.
In the US we seem to get them 6-8 weeks after they hit the high seas. It used to be 6 more often....
Chronicles, on the boat. Strongholds of Resistance, on the boat. Keeping the Peace(guardian book that looks like its worth holding your breath for), slated to be released in Q3 2015.....In Developement.
/sigh.
The printer burned down, the boat sunk, and the devs were taken hostage by a rival gaming company. Pretty much explains it all.

Quickly, you go to Kinkios and seize their printers. The rest of you, prepare to march on Wizard's of the Coast's offices. To war!

The Dark Heresy book Enemy Without went from in development to on the boat in only a few weeks. I'm not sure that they're updating the status of their upcoming releases as accurately as we would all like.

Down with the Coastal Wizards!
Chronicles of the Gatekeeper? More like Chronicles of the Boatkeeper!

I think this is our answer; Keeping the Peace isn't even listed on the Upcoming page. Their website is also painfully slow to update the News page with new articles as they get published.

Aw another month or so to wait!
Anyone heard anything more on this? I think we can safely say we're past "Early" October...
Stuck in the port log jam. The longshoreman went on strike last January and we are still feeling the problems from that.
Chronicles of the Gatekeeper? More like Chronicles of the Boatkeeper!

If FFG is going all gangsta with their next books, wouldn't it be more appropriate to release them under the Edge of the Empire line?
And... wait for it... shipping!
Isn't FFG under a new Euro parent company these days? Is is possible corporate said to sit on all of it for a holiday release to bump up end of year numbers?
It's just gone to Shipping Now people! Roll out the red carpet!

No they are not under a European company. They merged with one. And no they would not sit on product till xmas. That would be stupid. They were delayed because of the LA port problems.
I wonder why Chronicles is shipping but not Strongholds?
Because reasons
I wonder why Chronicles is shipping but not Strongholds?
It probably is. But from a marketing point of view, it makes sense for them to make the announcements over a period of time, so the marketing team have something to post about each week.

Normally I'd agree with the stupid thing, but with TFA coming out in Dec. a holiday release of all things Star Wars might not be a bad call. If they're selling Yoda's Green Grapes (yes... really) there's clearly a reason to believe people will be buying anything Star Wars... Lots of people have gotten into a Star Wars RPG because they bought a sourcebook first, then figured out it's a game...
