Just double checking. Does BB-8's ability give the free barrel roll before the maneuver is executed?

1. Reveal green maneuver

2. Execute free barrel roll

3. Execute revealed green maneuver

Correct.

How about this.

1. reveal green maneuver

2. execute free barrel roll

3. trigger push the limit

4. perform second action

4.1 add stress from PTL

5. execute green maneuver

5.1 check stress

5.2 remove stress

6. Perform action

Edit - Oh wait - it's free barrel roll - not free barrel roll Action so PTL doesn't trigger.

First time ever an ability has granted a Barrel Roll that isn't an action.

However.....

4. Perform action - Expert Handling

In this case you may perform two barrel rolls in a turn as only one of them is an action

You can also trigger this ability when stressed

And the new Blue Ace gets pretty crazy with him. Barrel roll, then green bank then a hard turn boost makes for 135* rotation and a lot of lateral movement with hardly any forward movement.

I was running Predator on Poe today and smoked Soontir and some IGs but damned if i'll ever run him without PTL again.

BB8+PTL = 3 actions for 5 points.

Sadly being stressed doesn't allow you to use BB8.

Good thing the combo leaves you unstressed in the end, then, huh?
