Are there any other functional droids in the cell's equipment. I was particularly thinking of a DZ-70 tracker droid (Far Horizons p49) or a Sorosuub wanderer scout surveyor droid (Enter the Unknown p 57) or even a few generic remote droids (from special modifications p. 53)?

If not are there any non-functional droid parts in the supplies N97 could use to put together a basic security/monitoring droid. A mono-task minion droid or two from Special Modifications table 3-7 (droid crafting).

As for supplies, are we going to have any combat troops (NPCs) that go with us? If not does the ship have a basic supply of a few rifles, pistols and grenades?

N97 could use a couple of repair patches, perhaps a database upgrade (like the Species Database from dangerous allies p179), Should he also carry a few stim-packs for use on the others if needed?

You could take some generic remotes, upgraded with sensor packages if that's the effect you want. What are you trying to go for?

You won't have any NPCs - the speeder has three crew and three passengers - but there is a combat supply kit onboard with two blaster carbines, four frag grenades and two stun grenades.

You can make a Rarity check for any other items (Negotiation to weedle them out of the Rebels, or a well-argued-for Knowledge check if you can justify it, to find them in the village). There's a +2 modifier due to this being a relatively out-of-the-way world, and an isolated location on it.

As a fyi Noman does have a pair of electro-binoculars. Though a thermal cloak isn't a bad idea if they are going to be roughing it. Or a tent. We may need a tent perhaps?

You can have the scanner, but the QM (Lunu Somal) is a fellow Rutian Twi'lek, and the fact that in your species women are often hostile to their fellows, and your position as her superior officer, means that she is less than civil towards you and only 'has in stock' the scanner.

You could ask someone else to see about acquiring the four droids, though there'd be a setback to it for all four. Each droid would take 24 hours to craft, and your routing orders will tell you to move out in six, so you may need to alter that.

I can sort of see the look on the face of that QM when she tosses the crash survival kit on the table as Liaka is about to leave. Mostly to dis her piloting ability

EDIT: I've made a note of the things stowed on board the speeder under ASSETS & RESOURCES on my sheet, just to keep it on one place. Obviously, everyone can use those, just making a note of what we have.

If it is in the morning I would like to go through the inventory list (that N97 made last night) and see if they have 50cr worth of scrap I could use to create the welding rod (will take 10 hours, but I might be able to get it down sooner with successes overnight, and if he doesn't finish it he can finish it later).

You're leaving in the morning, yes, so you have time to look for scrap. An Average Streetwise or Hard Negotiation check could be used to find someone to sell you the requisite parts. If you want to make the roll before you have to leave, go ahead.

I'd like an Average (DD) Piloting check from Liaka, with two Setbacks from weather, and a Hard (DDD) Computers check from an unspecified PC to work the scanners, with one weather Setback.

I think N97 should do the roll since he has the better dice pool for the check I think.

The craft is buffeted by the weather conditions (thunder, lightning, increasingly heavy rain) and suffers 1 system strain as Liaka wrestles with the controls to keep it upright. N-97's sensor sweep reveals that in one of the valleys nearby there is definitely a potential site for a base, but cannot get an accurate mapping of the site due to the atmospheric conditions and the range.
