so how do we as stuff in character. we should set up some rules.

It's been a while since I've done pbp, but the basic, fundamental rule is don't narrate other character's actions unless you're the GM. Generally I won't include actions from another character in my post unless I have permission from them. That's why I described Rax offering his hand to help Issan and Geoff up instead of just pulling them up; it may be that for whatever reason they were going to refuse the assistance, and by making an action for them I just threw things off a bit.

Your first post of binary agitation underneath of pile of bodies is perfect

This is a descriptive action.

"This is dialogue."

"This is an open thought."

This is the GM's action (red is evil)

This is the PCs' action (blue is good)

Jaspor, Oro's character sheet is looking quite empty, especially in terms of Duty. Could you fill in his background and Duty? Also, Tear44 you need to tell us Toco's actual Duty score. Did you spend it or save it?

Are you sure? I'm not entirely sure what you're saying there. Might it not be easier to just assume everyone knows what you're saying? What does everyone else think?

Edit: having seen your post that actually works quite well. We'll see how it goes...

this is also one of the 'problems' my group had. and i fixed it with the very first contribution rank being comm fixes to translate everything the droid said into basic.but yer, my group did gain cont rank 1 really quick.

Rax at least should have a basic understanding of Binary, having spent some time in the company of Cee-Tee. He may also have picked it up before that working with family droids, before they were sold off one-by-one to keep the family afloat.

Well it really depends on what TitchFender wants to do...

Once there is a bit more down time (like a day or three), I'm going to want to see what I can do to "combine" both the standard medpac and the ECM-598. That way I can take a bit more supplies while also being able to maximize the equipment storage and uses.

I'm kind of a fan of most of us not understanding the droid, only having his gestures and the tone of his beeps and whirs to interpret.

At least maybe as a contribution rank we all get a narrative "speaks binary" talent because of all the work we've done together.

That can actually be helpful. We may also want to see about getting earbud/mic sets, as well as some encryption software.

Also, just a heads up on player experience, I was in the United States Army from '06 to '12. If I ask too many questions about the operation, just let me know to sit down and shut up.
