On the Boat!

By eWabbie, in Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game

A month or so ago, someone in this thread said they thought it might be a Christmas ploy of sorts, that FFG was waiting until an unannounced release date and that the games were already off the boat. I'm in the U.S. but I checked Amazon's UK site today. Unlike the U.S. site, they have a release date to pre-order by: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013TRY0F6?keywords=Warhammer%20Quest%3A%20The%20Adventure%20Card%20Game&qid=1447387426&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

So, the previous prediction I mentioned was not far off, it would seem. I can be patient as long as I have a specific date. Thought I'd pass on the info to help alleviate frustration such as mine.

A while back it was listed on the US Amazon site as being available on 11/23. Then the listing was removed for a while. Now it's listed again with a release date of 12/18.

This now seems to have gone off the uk site one point of interest though is that the price was £39.95 as compared to $39.95 here on FFG.

A shop was selling copies on various Amazon European websites with reasonable prices yesterday, with release date on November 22nd, but they have been removed as well.

I'm thinking the boat is a row boat with only one oar. The excitement within me is building like a child on Christmas Eve awaiting the big day itself.

Now lets just hope that the warehouse delivery vehicle is not a horse drawn carriage.

How about a Black Coach? I'm given to understand that undead horses go faster than living ones (at least, the roads in front of them tend to be emptier), so don't bemoan the horse-drawn option.

If it is it may possibly be drawn by Sad Ken (a Bottom series reference for those unfamiliar).

Had to look it up but the reference was funny. Thanks for the chuckle

Awesome I knew the reference!

He was a dead-cert

He sure was :)

(nothing personal, FFG. When you're releasing what appears to be a fantastic game it seems to take an age for it to come into the shops)
