Pilot Skill on ship base template

By Punk, in X-Wing Battle Reports

Is there anything for a quick easy way to change the pilot skill number on a ship base template (temporarily of course) to represent a change in pilot skill (i.e. Veteran Instincts)?

You could probably make some stickers to print out and place over your baseplate. I haven't heard of anyone making these specifically, though it seems like it'd be easy since there are a good number of custom baseplates people create & print out.

This would get more views in the correct sub forum, FYI (the main forum is probably best).

Not sure about ways to change the base template, but I usually just put a d20 with the adjusted pilot skill on the pilot card. This helps me to remember about the adjusted skill.

Use a paper punch to punch a dot out of a post-it note. Write the new ps on the dot and your good. Very cheap.

You could use a different pilot's chit.

I think that printing out alternative base cards with corrected PS would fit here nice.

Or make tokens from tough cardboard (with +2 PS symbol for example) and place them just like players place the number token to determine ships on table if they are basic pilots.

And who got ps 11 printed on for example?:D
