I was curious how the Staff of Greyhaven's special abilities would work in the example above when the Geomancer chooses to use his Earthen Anguish skill. Since Earthen Anguish says the attack ignores Range and Line of Sight. Does that mean the Geomancer would be able to easily pump up the staff's damage since it can convert up to three unused range to damage? If so, this is a very effective combo.

since the attack ignores range, you can convert range into damage, but staff of greyhaven can convert up only 3 range to damage, so it's strong but not overpowered.
