Hero development thread.

Post your ideas for new heroes here. The rest of us will (hopefully) help you to think of new class cards etc.

EDIT: Saying this pre-emptively: I am opposed to another Jedi hero, I think Diala covers the concept well (still post them if you want to, I'm just voicing my opinion).

Here's one I have; I'd appreciate any ideas you have for the remaining cards or any concerns about power level.

EDIT: Finished cards, still would appreciate ideas.

Sen Kyon is a former ISB agent who joined the rebels out of disillusionment. There are still some trust issues between her and the rest of the alliance. Her red mission involves her leading the team into a trap without telling them in order to get some intel.

Sen Kyon:

The Devious Spy

12 health

Speed: 4

Endurance: 4

Defense: W

Strength: BG

Insight: BGY

Tech: BG

Shiv:

1 strain: Choose a hostile figure adjacent to you and roll 1 green die. The figure suffers damage equal to the d results. Limit once per round (twice if you have two activation tokens).

Communication disruptions:

The deployment cost of all imperial groups is increased by 1.

Starting Weapon:

CDEF blaster Pistol:

GG

S: Stun

Trades stopping power for compactness.

Class Cards:

1xp:

Inside Intel:

At the start of each mission roll 1 green die. The imperial player must show you deployment cards from his hand equal to the number of accuracy results. If he has fewer deployment cards in his hand he shows them all.

On the run:

Exhaust this card after you interact to gain two movement points.

Get in, get intel, get out, don't die.

2xp:

Isolated target:

When you declare an attack, if no enemy figures are adjacent to the target, add +1d to the attack results.

It took a long time before any rebel agreed to partner with Sen.

Bloodlust:

Apply +2 health to your hero. After you use shiv, if the target figure was defeated, you may become focused.

"My work is brutal, it's easier to enjoy it than feel guilt."

3xp:

Genade!:

2 strain, Action: Choose a space within 3 spaces and roll 1 red die, each hostile figure or object on or adjacent to the space suffers damage equal to the d results. Then deplete this card.

“Most of the time subtlety works, the rest of the time…”

Deathblow:

When you use shiv. You may roll a red die instead of a green one.

They can’t raise the alarm if they’re dead.

EDIT: Changed from two green to one red and removed strain cost.

4xp:

Combined Arms:

2 strain: Exhaust this card after you resolve a melee attack, you may interrupt to perform a ranged attack.

It’s important to be adaptable.

ISB commlink:

At the start of a round you may exhaust one of your activation tokens to exhaust one imperial deployment card.

“It’s funny how often they still fall for this.”

Reward Card:

Go loud!:

At the end of a figures activation you may ready an activation token belonging to you or an ally. If you do the imperial player gains threat equal to the threat level and deplete this card.

“Trust me.”

Bounty hunter turned rebel hero

About Sen, my first impression is that the "Communications disruption" is extremly powerful, to powerful to just be a passive ability.

Perhaps an activated ability for 2 strain which gives +1 (or possibly 2) cost for that round? This would probably give the rebels a turn when they know they wont get much reinforcment and can heal up.

Instead of grenade, would not some sort of mine, or trip bomb be more fun and thematic.

Looks cool otherwise.
