Scum Punch

My first Scum list, hugely restricted by cards at this point. Really I just want to make something work with YV-666. What I'm wondering is: can i make something along these lines work? Do I need to invest in another Y to run as a turret, switch to bomber (I've got K-Wing cards to work with)? Or maybe another Headhunter to swarm it up?

Not a ton of synergy here, I'd say. Trying to make the Headhunters punchy enough to work as flankers with teeth. Advice warmly accepted – first post!

I've found Greedo to really bite me in the arse late game with Bossk. I'd also be tempted to go with an outlaw tech or a K4 security droid for more action economy.

R4-B11 is really meant for Drea Renthal. The R4 agromech is much better on a generic pilot y-wing, particularly with TLT.

The problem with z-95's is that they have no repositioning ability, so they make terrible flankers. Bringing those two far away from your other two ships just encourages your opponent to kill them quickly, before they get their missiles off and before the rest of your squad can get to the fight.

You would be much better off flying the z-95's close to Bossk to act as blockers in front of him (so he can always keep shooting things and not have them fly behind him).

Also, Bossk really wants a 'mangler' cannon. Or at the very least, give him calculation instead of determination. Right now, you have no way to get good use out of his ability (except by hoping the dice roll lots of crits naturally----which never happens when you want it!). If you do take calculation, Bossk would really appreciate outlaw tech to go with it.

Mind = blown. So I'm sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere, 'cause clearly I'm a little slow on the uptake, but can you force re-rolls indefinitely as long as you don't mind Drea having 5938574 stress tokens?

Dice can only be rerolled once I believe.

R4 seems like a natural win, for sure. Yeah, I think I'm trying to fit the Z-95s in because I have them to use, not because the work particularly well. It's probably good to try to fly them as blockers – I haven't yet flown anything as a blocker, so it's a strategy I need to learn. As for Bossk and Mangler: just a card deficit on my part. Greedo + Determination is the best I have to work with... time to hit up eBay!

Try Hot-Shot Blasters on the Zs. You can block with them and still get shots off as long as there's another target within range 2, which is very often when you cause a traffic jam in the middle of the board. You should have 1 copy in the Most Wanted box.
