Just moved to Nashville and am looking for people to play X wing with. Is there a weekly thing in town? Anyone interested in getting together for a game? I've been playing casually for about a year and half.

Looking for players in Nashville
I visit family regularly in Nashville, and last I remember there are a group of people playing at the Game Keep. I know most of the players are playing 40k there on Thursday night, but that is the night I would stop by and try to talk to people. There is also the Game Cave which is just down the road. Both places should have a player base.

I know they play at the Game Cave on Sundays. I can't usually make it because it's 45 mins away and I am frequently too busy with my kids/work to spare the time to play and 1.5 hours driving.
I've been trying to drum up some interest in Madison/Hendersonville. The Game Cave 2 just opened up here and the owner may be interested in spinning up some X-Wing (which would be fantastic for me as it's close). They are just starting out and are currently primarily focused on comics, rpgs, and ccgs. They do have a nice boardgame collection as well and the owner and his wife are avid gamers and nice folks.
NextLevel games in Madison is expanding (I think) and the owner there has stated he has some interest in X-Wing - I think the primary problem with the game up this way is the amount of product you have to order to really get on board. Some of these small shops would find it tough to sell enough unless the community met a certain threshold - and to get the threshold up you have to have the product and plenty of interest... so it's kind of a tight spot.
Anyway - I'm going to do what little I can to support these shops as they are close enough for me to be able to play occasionally even with my work/life 'balance'. Even if I could just get an occasional partner or two fro casual play I'd be very happy.
Industrialstr- I live in east Nashville and would love to have someone to play some casual games with. Would you be interested in meeting up?
Hmm - thought I'd get some kind of notifications on responses since I subscribed. Guess I need to check things out again.
I'd love to get a game in here and there - my main problem is that I am just flat-out busy most of the time between work and my kids/family. The good news is that the game shop up her ein Hendersonville is going to host a tournament and they are talking about starting some regular play nights - which I may be able to make on occasion.
Have you ever played on Vassal? I haven't really dove in because ... well really because I haven't taken time to learn the shortcuts and find squad building a bit slow. I am sure you can build and save squads up front - and I need to do that as most of my 'free' time is when I should be sleeping 
If there was a venue somewhere nearby that we could play I might be able to sneak a game in on occasion - but I am pretty unreliable due to familial obligations and work which frequently change.
Are you on Boardgamegeek? That's a great X-Wing resource as well. I'm on there as user Masterhit.
I'm doing my meager best to push X-Wing up here at the local shops and to try and drum up interest - hopefully we can get some traction. The fact that both Game Cave locations are engaged is definitely a step in the right direction.
