Probably because PTL BB-88 and AT (38 points total) is so obvious right? Just wondering what others were planning for the rebellion's newest ace.

R5-P9 is actually the more common one. PtL still seems solid, I like Lone Wolf. Autothrusters on T-70's is a no brainer IMO.

PTL and BB gives T70s Soontiresque maneuverability but **** R5-P9 is genius...can't believe it hadn't occurred to me. I also figured LW synergizes with his ability very well. So many versions to try out and I haven't even done much with the KWings yet. Good thing its a holiday weekend, right?

What? I'm looking to find ways to NOT use his focus, not more ways to use it. That defeats the purpose.

R5-P9 really is so obvious it hurts. Attack buff AND defense buff AND repair a shield? YES, PLEASE!
Only thing he needs is a way to make sure he can always get a focus, even if needs/wants to use his boost action.
Was thinking something like...
Poe + R5-P9
Garven + R2-D6 + VI (so he's PS8, like Poe, and can pull a focus, shoot first, then pass the focus over to Poe)
Wedge + BB-8 + EU + PtL (because HOLY WOW THE MANEUVERS)
...skills at 8, 8, 9...which is solid. Good attack, good defense, and a healer in the mix...I just worry a bit it will suffer against turrets, some.
Throwing PtL on Poe with R5-P9 and autothrusters...is, yes indeed, VERY sweet, but...at that point, you are sinking a lot of points into one ship...

I just threw some bombs on Tuketu and a Z95 with AHM. Only played it once but it did well.
Nice but I think I like a 61 point Han better. R2D2 might help keep the Falcon around long enough to put a dent in a quad TLT list.
I don't know. Between Autothrusters, Lone Wolf, and his ability, Poe can be a very tough nut to crack. Especially for turrets.

I think Blue Ace really wants R7-T1. You
get some action efficency from the droid in a way that lets you take advantage of his crazy 90 degree boost.
Poe with Lone Wolf, Autothrusters and R5-P9 is fairly reliably going to get two evades per defense, then can regenerate a shield. Wow. Corran can take a seat. I also like Boost more than BR.
Blue Ace definitely wants R7-T1, and hopefully Autothrusters too.
RSV with PtL, R2, and AT is the best combo I can think of for it.
I'd love to run all three in a list, but they're just too expensive. Rightly so.
I ran 38 Poe (PTL, BB8, AT) and he's awesome. He's almost a mini-Soontir with the three action no-stress move and repositioning. I think PTL Poe is more offensive while LW Poe is more defensive, but I'm curious what folks think about their relative strengths and weaknesses.
And who to team him with? I tried him with Tycho (who loves Wired, but he's still not very forgiving to fly) and a K-Wing (which sucked), which was clearly not an ideal list. Corran? Dash? Some TLT Y's?
