I realize this is a joke (If you make something that no one uses worse, is it actually a nerf? Seems more like a warning) but the contents of the new deck probably make it a wash for Saboteur or even a slight buff. Previously, you'd burn your action for a 50% chance of flipping up what might be a totally worthless crit. Now you'll at least be likely to get something worthwhile for your crit.

Yeah it is kind of hard to tell if these new critical effects or worse or far more forgiving. Some of these new critical effects seem far less effective then their previous incarnations. Of all the new damage cards I only think of one that could be more destructive than cards in the previous deck and that is the major hull breach but only because it flips damage card all over. With this new deck I'm starting to question if Major hull breach is really that bad.

There is still something funny about it, but in the name of not ruining that joke, I'll refrain from saying it.

Major Explosion deals a crit where Minor Explosion only dealt a hit. That made Minor Explosion a weaker Direct Hit, Major Explosion trades off Direct Hit!'s guaranteed second point of damage for a 50% chance to inflict a second crit.

Interceptors can now be one-shot if a single crit gets through their tokens and dice. That makes not spending an evade to block a Mangler shot to prevent Gunner from triggering a risky proposition.
