Just wondering? One of the guys at the store last night mentioned it and got me thinking about it.

They have 3 agility and evade. Plus they can go 5 and close to range 1 quickly. I know they are 27 points, but they are way more survivable against TLT's imo.

What does everyone think?

E-wing can take Sensor Jammer.

I don't think the situation is dire enough to push Knave or worse Blackmoon into the limelight, but anything that can take Sensor Jammer's in good stead.

the T-70s should, however, prove to be overall superior against tlts specifically (thrusters baby!) and E-wings (re: corran) should prove superior against fat ships

You think a TLT Rebel Operative with 3 TLT Gold Squadrons, one of which has Extra Munitions + Conner Net would be good?

Sure, against TLTs E-wings might be better than B-wings and large ships. But the cost inefficiency of E-wings overall doesn't make it viable against much else and would be a soft counter at best.

Maybe but E-wing have just as much health as an X-wing. But the thing E-wings have to beat is the T-70 with autothrusters so you are going to have to compare 3 dice with sensor jammer vs 2 dice with auto thrusters and see which has better results.

Also you are paying 4 points more for the E-wing option.

For me: I would say the combination of "too expensive" and "not enough hull points" makes them not enough suitable to fight TLTs.

but an E with sensor jammer can still have a shield upgrade or stealth device... If I am running a shield regenerating astromech I usually pop for the shield upgrade...

yeah yeah, I know no more r2d2 (which is why Corran is so bloody impossible to kill) but he lets you derp around with PTL in lieu of the sensors you're replacing

yes, the free b-roll is redundant with the action bar , but the action before the maneuver is not

An E-Wing with a TLT on it would be amazeballs

You want to get Defensive:

Corran Horn with R2-F2, Sensor Jammer, Lone Wolf, and a Stealth Device for 47 points

With R2-F2 you have 5 Agility until you get hit and Lone Wolf gives you a defensive re-roll while Sensor Jammer messes with their attacks. If only there was a way to get Autothrusters...

SJ Corran will be a real bear for TLT's to bring down. The rest of the E's...not so much.

Corran has no defensive ability

He will be exactly as hard to bring down as any other e

The only difference is he'll mulch ys much harder with double tap

And then Blount ***** in your cereal.

With advanced homing missiles around E-wing has bigger issues than tlt, one direct hit and that pricy e-wing is gone.

And three agility is no sure fire way to avoid tlt damage.
